    Abstract: Apparatus and method for the making of a pressure-sensitive adhesive stock for labels using a label production line, are disclosed. The stock comprises a first layer of facestock material configured to be die-cut to form the stock of labels surrounded by a matrix, the first layer being backed by a layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive, which in turn is covered by a release liner. 5 The apparatus and method allow the matrix of the facestock to be peeled-off from the release liner on the label production line without stopping the label production line by merely slowing down the label production line. A pressure-sensitive adhesive stock free of the matrix of the facestock is therefore produced without lowering production yields.

These micro-voids/cavities, and/or embedded microcrystalline particles present in the polymer matrix of the lidding film, may create internal cracks in the film by application of a small external force, which may then result in rupturing of the lid film to dispense a product from the cavity of the blister pack.

Accordingly, when a flowable polymeric material is injected in a mold cavity to form the midsole with the lower portion of the upper and the strobel in the mold cavity, the stitch holes will not provide a path for entry of the flowable polymeric material into the foot-receiving cavity. A method of manufacturing an article of footwear is disclosed.
