  • Patent number: 11092843
Abstract: A apparatus for peeling a polarizer and a peeling method thereof are provided. The peeling method includes the following steps: dividing a polarizer into a plurality of etching areas; conducting etching with an ion beam on the plurality of etching areas, in sequence, by following a predetermined path; and removing, from the display panel, the polarizer that is not etched off by the ion beam. In the polarizer peeling method, an ion beam is used to conduct, in sequence, etching on a plurality of etching areas by following a predetermined path so as to avoid direct application of an external force to tear off a polarizer that might cause the events of the polarizer being broken or other film layers being damaged, and thus the efficiency of peeling can be improved.

  • Patent number: 11027874
Abstract: This invention relates to application of labels from a supply of labels which are defined in sheet material and in which adjacent labels are joined together by a line of weakening to form a continuous label supply. The label sheet material is provided with a layer of adhesive which contacts with a backing layer to form the label supply. The leading label is provided with a leading edge portion detached from the backing layer from application at an application point to an article and the article and label feed movement are controlled such that the remainder of the label can be detached from the backing layer, and the line of weakening broken effectively and accurately and without the need for the sheet material of the label supply and/or backing layer to have a thickness to provide the level of rigidity or stiffness of the material which is conventionally required, thereby reducing material usage and wastage.

  • Patent number: 10849234
Abstract: Multilayer articles that include electrical circuits are prepared by the adhesive transfer of electrical circuit elements to the surface of an adhesive. A number of different methodologies are used, with all of the methodologies including the use of simple layers of circuit-forming material on a releasing substrate and structuring to generate circuit elements which can be transferred to an adhesive surface. In some methodologies, a structured releasing substrate is used to selectively transfer circuit-forming material, either from protrusions on the releasing substrate or from depressions on the releasing substrate. In other methodologies, an unstructured releasing substrate is used and either embossed to form a structured releasing substrate or contacted with a structured adhesive layer to selectively transfer circuit-forming material.
