Abstract: A tactical rig to be worn by police and military personnel includes an accessory panel which is strapped to the thigh of an individual and which is secured to the belt of the wearer with an adjustable strap. The accessory panel includes three heavy straps secured to itself including a series of stitchings which define loops for attaching pouches. One of the pouches may be a holster, which is secured to the panel with a fastener, such as a spring clip passing through one of the loops. The holster is generally U-shaped in cross-section and includes extended portions having loop and pile fasteners which combine to provide a double wrap around a handgun with an attached tactical light or other object carried in the holster. Because of the extended portions and the loop and pile fasteners, there is considerable flexibility in the size and shape of an object, which can be safely carried in the holster.

Abstract: A universal snowmobile handlebar bag having a first larger pouch and a second smaller pouch interconnected at upper edges therof by a flexible panel sized to fit across the central portion of a snowmobile handlebar with the pouches on opposite sides of the handlebar and with the side of the handlebar to which either bag is located being determined by the configuration of the snowmobile and with the access to and interior configuration of each pouch being determined by the size of the pouch.

Abstract: A shoulder harness apparatus for carrying personal items on an upper body portion of a user. The shoulder harness apparatus includes a main harness member designed to be worn over the shoulders of a user, and a plurality of detachable holders and sleeves for carrying personal items.

Abstract: A stationery form including a single sheet of printable material that has a self-seal contact adhesive applied to edge regions arranged to contact each other when the form is folded about a crease line. Contacting edge regions are releasably adhered when a first pressure is applied to seal temporarily the form in a folded condition such that the form can be opened and re-sealed. The contacting edge regions are non-releasably adhered when a second pressure higher than the first pressure is applied to seal permanently the form in the folded condition. Low pressure sealing may be achieved manually, for example by finger pressure. High pressure sealing may be provided with a pressure sealing machine. A permanently sealed form can be opened by tearing along lines of weakness inboard of the adhesive to remove the bonded regions.

Abstract: A beverage bottle carrier apparatus for enabling an individual to carry one or more beverage bottles. The beverage bottle carrier of the invention includes an elongated generally rectangular flexible strap having a handle portion in the approximate middle thereof for easy grasping by a hand of a person carrying one or more beverage bottles, the flexible strap having two ends and a buckle assembly for connecting the two ends together, one end of the strap having a male portion of the buckle assembly connected thereto and the other end of the strap having a female portion of the buckle assembly connected thereto, and a hooking mechanism connected to said male portion and said female portion, the hooking mechanism being adapted to be force-fitted around the neck of a beverage bottle to grasp and hold a beverage bottle therein.

Abstract: A reclosable bag is provided that includes a reclosable mouth with a zipper and a slider device. The reclosable bag also includes a shield that covers the zipper such that when product is dispensed into the bag interior, the shield protects the zipper and prevents contact between the product and the zipper. In preferred arrangements, the shield includes an area of weakness to permit easy removal of the shield from the bag. Preferably, the shield is shaped to function as a funnel to help direct product into the bag interior, when filling. Preferred methods of using and constructing bags will utilize constructions as described herein.

Abstract: A bicycle-carrier device comprises a supporting member to be mounted in cantilever fashion on the back of a motor vehicle, for supporting a bicycle in an upright position and in a vertical plane substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle. The supporting member comprises two cradles for supporting the wheels of the bicycle, and an auxiliary arm for clamping the bicycle in position.

Abstract: A locking assembly for securing a ladder to the roofrack of a vehicle. The locking assembly comprises a mounting bracket, a movable shaft slidably disposed in a channel defined in the mounting bracket, and a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes a handle, a sheave attached to an end of the handle, and a bias spring connected between the mounting bracket and the handle, the spring biasing the handle so that the sheave extends through an elongated opening in the channel to engage the moveable shaft in order to prevent further sliding movement through the channel. The locking assembly can be adjusted to accommodate any size of ladder.

Abstract: A cable cover for use with welding and cutting apparatus to protect and bundle together the power and any fluid-carrying lines extending from the torch handle. The cover includes an elongated panel formed of a flexible and durable material and having substantially parallel edge portions adapted to be secured together about the torch lines. A zipper is carried by the edge portions for securing those edge portions together over a first major portion of the cover. Strips of hook and loop fasteners are carried by the edge portions of the panel over the last two to three feet of the cover. Thus, a major portion of the cover can be quickly secured about the torch lines using the zipper fastener and one or more torch lines can exit the cover laterally at desired locations through the hook and loop fastener proximate the power supply without adversely impacting the integrity of the cover.

Abstract: A portable multi-pocket organizer for a carrying case of the type having a primary shell of pliable material formed of a pair of substantially identical primary half shells connected together for hinging along a common side and forming a primary receptacle, a multi-pocket assembly of pliable material that removably stores within the carrying case, the multi-pocket assembly device includes a rectangular pocket back panel having a front face and a back face, at least two open mesh pockets on the front face of the pocket back panel, and the open mesh pockets have openings oriented in a common direction, a removable auxiliary case in each open mesh pocket, each case formed of a primary shell of pliable material, the primary shell formed of a pair of opposed half shells connected together for hinging along a common side and forming a receptacle, each said primary shell having an outer fastener so that the outer fastener provides a means for opening and securing each auxiliary case.

Abstract: The backup buckle has a housing with juxtaposed first and second portions. A buckle mechanism is mounted in the first portion. A stiff plate is affixed to the buckle mechanism and extends along the second portion and away from the buckle mechanism. A latch blade is affixed to the stiff plate at a distance from the buckle mechanism. The backup buckle is mountable to a vehicle seat belt and is useful for offering an alternate release point along the seat belt in vehicles having hard-to-reach seat belt buckles. An objective of the backup buckle is to reduce the number of deaths and injuries caused by faulty seat belts retaining passengers in a vehicle on fire, in a submerged vehicle or in a vehicle in such condition as to create other life threatening situation. In another aspect of the invention, the housing of the backup buckle has a storage compartment therein for stowing personal articles.

Abstract: A flexible cover structure for enclosing and protecting a golf club bag during its handling and transport, the cover structure including a flexible cover member and a rigid base member having dual spaced-apart rollers and pedestals, and including multiple elongated skid rails provided at the base member lower rear side. The cover structure is provided with dual detachable bags each centrally located along opposite sides of the cover member by a continuous zipper. The detachable bags are each provided with a main inner compartment containing a foldable handle and closable by have a zipper fastener extending around the bags upper peripheral edges, a secondary inner compartment provided in the bag forward portion, and a front pocket closable by a zipper.

Abstract: A closure adapted for use with a product dispensing container is provided. The closure includes a closing lid moveable between a first position and a second position relative to the product dispensing container. The closing lid has projections engageable with the product dispensing container to substantially fix the closing lid in the second position via continuous engagement therebetween. The closure may include a tamper indicating portion that includes a removable tearband. The closure can have a retention collar for securing the closure to the product dispensing container. A hinge may connect the retention collar with the closing lid. The hinge can elastically connect the retention collar to the closing lid such that the hinge resiliently biases the closing lid towards the first position. The projections may flexibly extend from the closing lid and are deflectable upon engagement with the product dispensing container.

Abstract: A case for carrying papers or the like includes a top closure member that is movable between a first open position, a second open position at which a top opening exists permitting access to the interior of the case and a first closed position at which the top opening does not exist. A side closure member releasably secures a sidewall portion vertically in a second closed position, and the side closure member is openable to permit movement of the sidewall portion from its second closed position to a third open position at which a side opening exists permitting access to the interior, where opening of the side closure member is independent of a position of the top closure member.

Abstract: A medical vest (10) and a method of using the vest to provide emergency medical care to a patient (102), are described. The vest includes an IV container (28) and a medical supply container (58) which are mounted on mounting pads (22, 24 or 26) on the front (12) or back (14) of the vest. The containers are also connected to the shoulders (16) of the vest by shoulder straps (27). The IV container is configured to carry an IV bag (150) as well as all the medical supplies necessary to provide an IV to a patient. The container is constructed so as to remain in the open position to allow the user to use both hands to tend to the patient. A clip strap (46) with a self-closing hook (48) is provided with the container to allow the container to be hooked near a patient for transport with the patient. The medical supply container has a variety of uses and can be provided with inserts with loops (69) for holding airway equipment or inserts without loops to hold additional emergency medical supplies.

Abstract: A support assembly for supporting an article on a vehicle-mounted equipment carrier having an axially-extending mounting member generally includes a first support member, a second support member and a locking member, all of which define openings or passages within which the carrier mounting member is received. The first support member includes a hub section from which a pair of arms extend, and the arms include first and second support areas for engaging the article at a pair of spaced locations. The second support member includes a hub section which is engageable with the hub section of the first support member, and an arm extending therefrom and including a third support area.

Abstract: Chocolates are wrapped individually by a method that involves feeding single wrapping sheets along a first path in a first direction spaced at a selected pitch, in such a way that the trailing edge of one wrapping sheet and the leading edge of the next are distanced one from another, and at the same time feeding a continuous ribbon in a second direction along a second path that merges with the first path at an assembling station where the ribbon is stably united with the sheets; ribbon and sheet then advance together in a third direction, along which the ribbon is divided into discrete slivers by repeated cuts, each made between the trailing edge of one sheet and the leading edge of the next and at a distance such that each sliver will present a portion projecting from the trailing edge of the wrapping sheet to which it is attached.

Abstract: A supplementary cargo carrier for a vehicle. The carrier includes a support-frame, a platform and support bars which can be pivoted relative to the platform. The support-frame can be removably attached to a trailer hitch. The carrier can have a variety of configurations depending on the intended application, the configurations being changeable by adjusting the support bars and by reversing the orientation of the platform relative to the support-frame.

Abstract: A bowl B in a dish-accommodating space S comes in engagement at the periphery or rim f thereof with lugs 12, which are movable relatively to reduce or expand an interval between any two adjacent bowls. On the other hand, a support plate 7 makes engagement at a concave edge 13 thereof with the periphery or rim of the bowl B and also abutment at a major surface thereof against the periphery or rim of an adjoining bowl B. That is, any one of bowls B comes in abutment against the major surface of the support plate 1 that is ahead of the bowl B. An operator first loads a conveyor of a dishwasher with a dish container 1 lying on its side and, then, expands the dish container 1. In this way, the bowls B in the dish container 1 are arranged vertically spaced apart from each other in a substantially standing posture. After the completion of the washing, the dish container 1 is contracted to a reduced state where the bowls B come in close relation with each other.
