  • Patent number: 9907995
Abstract: An exercise device has guide links each having a first attachment point pivotally attached to an upper part of a frame. Foot support links each have a foot receiving area to support a user's foot and are pivotally connected to a second attachment point of one of the guide links so that when the guide links pivot relative to the frame, the foot support links move in a path of travel having a horizontal component of motion. A first and a second control pulley are each pivotally connected to a respective one of the guide links and offset from the first pivot axis so as to move in an arc. A first and a second flexible element each couple the vertical drive assembly to a respective one of the foot support links. Each flexible element has a midportion extending about a respective one of the control pulleys.

  • Patent number: 9901775
Abstract: An isometric/isotonic neck exercise device designed to attach around a persons head, at the forehead level as would a typical headband be worn. Attached to this band as an integral component of this device to provide the medium by which the device can perform the function for which it is designed, is a nylon strap that includes two alloy “D” configuration rings for accessory attachment continuity. Once the device is secured in place on the user, accessory resistance band/s anchored from a fixed point at one end, are attached to this device with the other end of the resistance band/s to then provide a multitude of exercises that focus on all muscle groups and tendons in the neck, mid and upper spine to specifically and dramatically improve mobility and motion, for strength, fitness and rehabilitation purposes at levels which have not previously been obtained.

  • Patent number: 9895576
Abstract: A system including a set of at least three horizontal tread surfaces, and a drive system for displacing the tread surfaces vertically to form a set of stairs with a range of different rise heights. One end of a ramp is hingedly connected to the last tread surface so as to define a walking surface having a variable angle of inclination varying as a function of a vertical position of the last tread surface. The tread surfaces can assume a fully-lowered state in which the set of tread surfaces are juxtaposed as a continuous flat surface, and in which a support configuration supports the second end of the ramp so that, in the fully-lowered state, the walking surface of the ramp is horizontal, so that the tread surfaces and the walking surface together forming a continuous horizontal walkway.

  • Patent number: 9889329
Abstract: A free weight barbell with an elongated bar with two rotating weight sleeves and with axially moveable hand grips mounted on the bar located inside the weight sleeves. Each hand grip is attached to the distal end of an elongated rack that extends centrally and longitudinally inside the barbell. The inside ends of the two racks extend to or slightly beyond the bar's center axis. The bar is circular in cross-section and made of solid material with two axially aligned channels formed on opposite sides. The two channels extend from the ends of the lifting bar to a center adapter located over the bar's center axis. The hand grips slide over the ends of the bar and the two racks are inserted into the two opposite channels. • Patent number: 9884221
Abstract: An exercise bench that allows elderly, obese, and physically challenged individuals to participate in the same exercise regimens as younger, more agile athletes is provided. The exercise bench of the current invention comprises cushioned side supports that stabilize the individual during reclining and during exercise. Due to the nature of the exercises performed in the prone position, an exercise bench is generally narrow in order to allow freedom of movement for the Individual's arms. The narrow bench can provide stability challenges for elderly and obese individuals which the side support cushions address by providing the required stability without interfering with the individual's range of arm motion for exercising. The present invention also includes mechanical means to assist the user in reclining to a prone position, and returning to an upright sitting position.
