Abstract: An exercise device for improving physical fitness, includes a base body having several modules for supporting an exercising person. At least one of these modules can be displaced by the exercising person, by means of his/her feet, hands, or other body parts. The exercise device is equipped, in addition to its device-specific function, with an additional vibration function in which the vibration can be regulated in terms of frequency and amplitude, and is effective only on those components on which the exercising person is supporting himself/herself. Each module for supporting the exercising person has a separate component that is effectively connected with the body part of the exercising person assigned to it. This component is connected with the other components of this module by way of at least one damping element, and can have a vibration movement applied to it.
Abstract: An exercise apparatus has a linkage assembly which links rotation of an adjustable length crank to generally elliptical movement of a force receiving member. The linkage assembly includes a first link having a rearward end which is rotatably connected to the crank, and a forward end which is rotatably connected to a lower end of a suspended link. An upper portion of the suspended link is rotatably connected to the exercise apparatus frame.
Abstract: An elliptical exerciser includes two side tubes on two sides of the base and two guiding rails are pivotably connected to the two side tubes respectively. Two connection rods are connected to two ends of the crank on the wheel and each connection rod has a roller which is movably engaged with one of the guiding rails. Two pedals are connected to the two connection rods. The angle between the two guiding rails can be adjusted so that the users may operate the elliptical exerciser in a skiing or twisting way.
Abstract: A shaking exerciser includes a base having two supports between which a pivotable frame is connected. A side frame is connected to one of the two supports and has two roller members. A top pad unit is connected to a top of the pivotable frame and has an extension rod which is connected to the swing rod which extends through the support and extends between the two roller members. A driving device is connected to the base and has a link which is connected to the pivotable frame by an eccentric member so as to pivot the pivotable frame and the top pad unit. The extension rod on the top pad unit swings the swing rod so as to let the top pad unit to move in different directions.
Abstract: A rowing machine having a supporting frame with a seat movable thereon. The supporting frame is pivotally attached to an upright support of a base frame. A lifting device is pivotably interposed between the supporting frame and the base frame for adjusting the angle of the supporting frame relative to the base frame.
Abstract: A fixed safety handle of an elliptical cross trainer includes a fixed safety handle disposed near the top of a primary upright frame of an elliptical cross trainer, extended in direction of the operator, and bent in U-shape. The fixed safety handle includes a first holding member extending downwardly from both ends of the fixed safety handle and a second holding member extending laterally from the first holding member in direction to the outside such that the second holding member is located beyond the movement path of movable handles. In this way, the safety in getting on or stepping off the elliptical cross trainer can be ensured.
Abstract: An elliptical exercise apparatus includes a base, an upstanding frame extending upwardly from the base, a crank assembly including left and right crank members connected respectively and rotatably to left and right sides of the upstanding frame, and a link rod assembly including left and right first link rods each having first to third connection points. The first connection point is connected rotatably to the corresponding crank member. The link rod assembly further includes left and right second link rods each having rear and front ends connected pivotally and respectively to the upstanding frame and the corresponding second connection point. A pedal assembly includes left and right pedal rods each having a front connecting section connected rotatably to the corresponding third connection point. The pedal rods are mounted on the base to move in a substantially front-to-rear direction relative to the base.
Abstract: A motorized exercise and rehabilitation chair for pacing controlled movements of the legs and arms of a disabled user includes a chair supported above a reciprocating platform having a frontal spring biased footrest for exercising the knee and ankle joints and armrest that orbit in a circular pattern for exercising the elbow and shoulder joints of the user. The user may select and vary the operating speeds of the platform and armrests from a control unit swivel mounted in front of the chair.
Abstract: A reciprocal device for exercise machines includes a base having a plurality of positioning rods and stop members on a top surface thereof and each positioning rod has a spring mounted thereto. A movable member has a plurality of sockets which are mounted to the springs and the positioning rods. A cover is mounted to the movable member. The base and the movable member each have a sensing rod and the two sensing rods are located in alignment with each other so that when the movable member is stepped downward, the two sensing rods contact and send a signal to allow the exercise machine to process a function.
