Abstract: A multi-chamber package is described including a first and second chamber, the first chamber having a bottom wall and sidewalls defining a cavity, the second chamber having a partially open bottom wall and sidewalls defining a cavity. A first removable seal is positioned over a top surface of the package, fully covering the first chamber and second chamber, and a second seal is positioned over a bottom surface of the partially open floor of the second chamber, fully sealing the second chamber. A method of packaging medical devices is also described.

Abstract: A screw-top closure cap having a collapsible spout nesting within a cap and with a portion of the spout seated coaxially within the container neck itself is disclosed. Both the spout and the cap incorporate child-resistant features to prevent unwanted removal of the closure and/or use of the spout.

Abstract: A foldable blank for forming a carton for shipping and displaying a plurality of products in an integrated tray is provided. The blank includes a rear panel, a first and second side panels both foldably connected to the rear panel, an exterior floor panel foldably connected to the rear panel, and a front panel foldably connected to the floor panel that is less than half the vertical height of the rear, first side, and second side panels and defines at least one retaining tab, wherein when the blank is folded to form the carton, each of the rear panel, first and second side panels, and front panel are at least partially double-walled.

Abstract: A moisture- and dust-proof lockable press-type spring compartment pillbox is provided. The pillbox includes an upper cover, a lower bottom provided below the upper cover, and a plurality of plastic drawers provided between the upper cover and the lower bottom. An upper end of each plastic drawer is provided with a silicone inner cover. The plastic drawer is slidably provided along an inner side of the lower bottom. A rear end of the plastic drawer is provided with a locking joint. A rear edge of the inner side of the lower bottom is provided with a plurality of lock assemblies that correspond one-to-one with the locking joints on the plurality of plastic drawers. The lock assembly includes a built-in lock pliers for clamping the locking joint when the plastic drawer is pushed into the lower bottom, so as to fix the plastic drawer to the lower bottom.

Abstract: A container system and a method for forming a knob in a container. The container system includes a container, in particular a medical or surgical sterile container preferably having a tub-like container vessel and/or a container cover; at least one separate coupling element; and at least one coupling system for releasably connecting the coupling element to the container. The coupling system includes a male coupling portion formed on the container and a female coupling portion formed on the coupling element. The coupling portions can be coupled to and uncoupled from one another. The male coupling portion is integrally formed in a wall of the container and is designed as a protruding knob having an undercut.

Abstract: This disclosure is directed to a disposal container system enabling storage of used or contaminated articles having a generally flat, strip-shaped configuration, such as diagnostic biosensors. The disposal container is removably mountable to a supply container, and has an insertion portion provided in a wall of the disposal container. The insertion portion has a contour configured externally to guide deposit of a flat, strip-shaped article through a narrow slit, the contour further configured internally to deflect any loose articles in the interior space of the disposal container away from any accidental alignment with the slit which would cause free extraction of the articles. The disposal container may be configured for engagement with a supply container, such as a round or non-round vial, in a bottom-cap configuration or in a side-by-side configuration, by way of an engagement portion.

Abstract: A pharmaceutical container houses a substance for treating an individual having a medical condition. A disposable pouch has a primary layer and a secondary layer and defining a pouch chamber. A first pharmaceutical substance is within the pouch chamber for treating the medical condition. A second pharmaceutical substance is within the pouch chamber for treating the medical condition. The first pharmaceutical substance and the second pharmaceutical substance define a fixed-dose combination drug for ingestion by the individual for treating the medical condition.

Abstract: A secure container cover for a container and manufacturing method therefore are provided. The secure container cover includes an integrally molded body with an annular structure and a side wall. The annular structure includes a central void defined by an intermediate perimeter, and a graspable loop integrally formed with the annular structure is configured to reside within the central void. A tear initiation point is formed where the graspable loop joins the annular structure. A thin section extends from the tear initiation point to a bottom edge of the side wall. The graspable loop is detachably connected to the annular structure at a bridging section. The bridging section is configured to break when an upward biasing force is applied to the graspable loop, and the side wall is configured to separate along the thin section when the graspable loop is pulled away from the body of the secure container cover.

Abstract: An aseptic-fill beverage container can include a body and a base having a standing ring, a central portion, and an isolation ring that surrounds the central portion. One or more ribs can extend from the isolation ring to the standing ring such that the ribs do not extend outward the standing ring or inward to the central portion. The ribs can be s-shaped to provide rigidity and limit or prevent deformation to the base.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are packagings for cutting blades, multiple packagings connected to each other, methods for using and producing such packagings, and a method for packaging cutting blades in such packagings. One such packaging comprises a substantially flat base and cover layer made of a first and a second packaging material respectively, a blade receptacle between the two layers, and a cover of the blade receptacle formed in the cover layer. The first and second packaging material are made primarily of cardboard. The packaging materials each have a first and a second rigidity in corresponding primary directions, wherein a cutting edge of a blade is disposed in the packaging parallel to at least one of the primary directions. A multiple packaging made of such individual packagings with a separation region between two individual packagings comprises a planned parting line in a layer and a hinge line in the other layer.

Abstract: A container carrier for unitizing a plurality of containers includes a network of molded ribs forming a plurality of container receiving openings formed in a first plane and a plurality of radial tabs positioned within each container receiving opening. A plurality of raised rings are each formed over each container receiving opening and formed in a second plane. A band may be formed over each raised ring in the second plane and a rail may be positioned on an underside of the container carrier between each pair of container receiving openings.
