    Abstract: An infusible package includes a closed bag, containing an infusible substance for infusion in a liquid. The bag is formed from panels of porous material sealed at their peripheral margins; and at least one string. Each string extends through a seal between the panels, enters the interior of the bag at a point on the peripheral margins and extends across the interior of the bag to an anchoring point at or adjacent the peripheral margins. The length of that portion of each string which extends across the interior of the bag between the point on the peripheral margins and the anchoring point is greater than the distance between that point and the anchoring point. With this arrangement, pulling the string initially causes withdrawal from the bag interior of slack string length disposed therein.

    Abstract: A beverage bag containing a substance from which essences can be extracted by steeping is arranged so that steeping liquid does not drip from the bag during its transport from the steeping liquid to a place of disposal. The beverage bag is arranged as a generally planar envelope having at least one substantially straight side and an apex formed by the intersection of two envelope sides. A first handle, suitably string, is attached to the bag at a location that will cause the bag to hang with the apex at the lowermost point, thus facilitating rapid drainage of the steeping liquid from the bag contents. A second handle is attached to the bag at a location that will cause the bag to hang with its substantially straight side in a generally horizontal plane. Residual steeping liquid will be reabsorbed by the bag contents and the bag will then not drip during its transport to another location.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a sweet potato that is individually packaged after curing for market and actual cooking. After the sweet potato has been harvested, cleaned and cured, it is then individually packaged by wrapping a heat-shrinkable plastic film around the potato. The wrapped potato is then subjected to heat and the plastic film is heat-shrunk around the entire sweet potato and forms a tightly bound plastic film around the entire sweet potato. This plastic film protects the sweet potato during transport and preserves the quality of the sweet potato for an extended time period. Lastly, the individually wrapped sweet potato is ready for immediate microwaving while contained within the same heat-shrunk plastic wrap.

A valve, which is connectable to a high-pressure carbon dioxide gas source, is located within the aperture and allows pressurized carbon dioxide gas to pass into the container so as to pressurize the container to a selected pressure.

The brew chamber exhibits a maximum volume between about 100 percent and about 400 percent greater than the volume of the dry tea leaves contained therein. The discharge flow rate from the brew chamber is slower than the inlet flow rate into the brew chamber to permit a buildup of water and flooding of the brew chamber.

    Abstract: The invention disclosed herein provides a way to engage a used concentrate packet such as a tea bag in a drink container in which a liquid product was made from the concentrate without removing the packet from the container and without having to directly contact the packet. Thus, one need not wet his or her fingers or anything in the area of the container, and the used packet when engaged will not interfere with drinking of the liquid product. The packet is also isolated from the interior of the drink container to inhibit further infusion or dissolving of any concentrate remaining in the packet, thereby to control the strength or concentration of the liquid product without having to remove the packet from the container. In the preferred embodiment the holder defines a compartment into which the used packet may be moved to isolate the packet from the interior of the drink container so as to inhibit further concentrating the liquid product from any concentrate in the packet.

The direction in which the ridges of one array extend are at an angle to that of the other array so that the ridges of one array intersect the ridges of the other, and the contacting portions of the curved surfaces of the rollers form apertures in the dough between the intersecting ridges.

    Abstract: This invention relates to novelties and in particular to a novel candy holding and dispensing device which dispenses a liquid edible filling from a reservoir through a hollow stick attached to the sucker and through an channel (s) in the sucker type candy. This device includes a hollow plastic housing or reservoir which would contain a liquid edible filling. The hollow plastic housing may be pliable for applying a squeeze pressure to the liquid or of a hard plastic for which a piston force is necessary to force the liquid from the plastic housing. For a hard plastic housing or reservoir an attached threaded shaft is used. When turned, the threaded shaft pushes the liquid filling through a hollow stick at the top of the cylinder. The liquid filling then passes out of the hollow stick into a sucker type candy with channel (s) and oozes out at the top of the sucker type candy. The candy combination is now ready for consumption and eaten simultaneously.
