Abstract: A pitch mark repair tool is provided. The repair tool includes a stationary tube having a top end and a bottom end. At least one spike extends from the bottom end. A handle portion is secured to the top end of the stationary tube. A slide tube is slidably engaged with the stationary tube. The slide tube includes a bottom end having an aperture sized to fit at least one spike therethrough. A spring is disposed about the stationary tube in between the slide tube and the handle portion. The spring biases the slide tube so that the at least one spike is at least substantially disposed within the slide tube. The spike protrudes through the aperture when a pressure is applied to the bottom end of the slide tube 16 against the bias of the spring.

Abstract: A bottle puzzle used as a training or learning tool for children and adults with cognitive disabilities has puzzle pieces with uniquely shaped concave and convex walls, with only one wall in one puzzle piece matching another wall in a different puzzle piece. Each puzzle piece is a fully contained compartment capable of holding and dispensing beverages. When the puzzle pieces are put together, they form a normal bottle that can be filled with beverages.

Abstract: This invention is a golf tee which folds in three sections articulated to each other. When folded, the tee is compact and its pointed tip is shielded. Compactness is achieved by notching the top of the tee or by offsetting the two articulations with respect to each other. The tee is extensible by a linear ratchet or by a screw, thereby allowing the player to adjust the height. The sections can be assembled at their articulation by a snap-on mechanism. The top section can be made springy by including a coil spring between the articulation and the head of the tee. A snap-lock mechanism allows the tee to remain securely locked in the deployed configuration and in the folded configuration. The folding structure of the tee provides directional information to the player, either pointing backward to indicate the best backswing direction or forward indicating the best follow-through direction.

Abstract: A map system is provided whereby a plurality of individual puzzle pieces have a first upper planar surface and a second lower planar surface and are arranged in either a first unassembled configuration or a second assembled configuration to form a complete map, whereby at least one of complementary magnet pairs, complementary electronic sensors, complementary printed indicia, or combinations thereof are positioned on said lower planar surface for assembling into the assembled configuration.

Abstract: An improved anchor fitting (10) for anchoring a tether cord (22) to a hollow ball (12). The anchor fitting (10) includes an anchor body (16) comprising a shank portion (18) and a head (20) at one end of the shank portion. The anchor body is received in a hole (14) in the wall of the ball and defines an axial passage through which the tether cord extends. The anchor fitting includes two rigid shoulder-defining bodies (26) and (28) which are located within the ball and which extend perpendicularly relative to one another when assembled. The shoulder-defining bodies define holes in which the shank portion of the anchor body is received, with the head (20) abutting an inner side of the shoulder-defining body (28). A flexible resilient rubber washer (34) is located between the shoulder-defining bodies and an interior side of the wall for absorption of impact forces acting on the wall of the ball when the ball is struck by a bat.

Abstract: The invention generally relates to multi-dimensional puzzles for teaching, entertainment, and construction. One embodiment of the invention comprises two forms, one planar and one non-planar, which comprise a plurality of protrusions and recesses. These forms may be assembled by selectively interconnecting the various protrusions and recesses to create multi-dimensional shapes such as a cube, cylinder, and sphere among many other possibilities.

Abstract: A luminous ball is provided, including an internal sphere in which at least one receiving space is disposed; a light-emitting device disposed in the receiving space; at least one covering wrapping an external circumferential surface of the internal sphere; at least one seam formed on an edge of the covering; a plurality of thread apertures disposed in pairs at two sides of the at least one seam; at least one thread penetrating the plurality of thread apertures to stitch the edge of the covering between the two sides of the at least one seam; wherein the internal sphere is a transparent ball, a light generated by the light-emitting device penetrates the internal sphere through the receiving space, and is visible through the at least one seam and the plurality of the thread apertures distributed on the covering.

Abstract: A sport ball may include a casing and a bladder located within the casing. The casing may include a plurality of panel elements joined to each other with welds, and portions of the panel elements that include the welds may project toward an interior of the ball. A method of manufacturing a sport ball may include providing a plurality of casing elements that include a thermoplastic polymer material. Edges of the casing elements are welded to each other to join the casing elements. The casing elements may then be turned inside-out through an aperture formed by at least one of the casing elements, and the aperture may be sealed.

Abstract: A golf tee assembly includes a support that has a plurality of arms. The support may be positioned on a support surface to define a vertically oriented arm and a plurality of supporting arms. A plurality of tees is provided and each of the tees is removably coupled to the support. The tee corresponding to the vertically oriented arm may support a golf ball thereby facilitating the golf ball to be struck. A plurality of extensions is provided. Each of the extensions is removably positioned between the arms and the tees. Thus, the tees are spaced a selected distance from the support.

Abstract: The sports ball (410) has an inner layer (416) and an outer panel (414). The inner layer (416) is secured to the outer panel (414) and several inner layers (416) and outer panels (414) are sewn together to form the sports ball (410). A strip (440) is positioned between the inner layer (416) and outer panel (414) under a white stripe (448) to raise the white stripe (448) on the sports ball (410) above the surrounding outer surface of the sports ball (410) to enhance grip. The sports ball (410) can be a football (412). A line of thread (424) can be stitched between the inner layer (416) and outer panel (414) on either side of the stripe (448) to enhance the shape retention of the sports ball (410), enhance grip and help keep the strip (440) in place. In a modification, a strip (480) is positioned between the inner layer (416) and outer panel (414) except under the white stripe (448) to form a void under the stripe (448) and enhance grip.

Abstract: An American style football including an inflatable prolate spheroidal shaped bladder, at least one cover panel surrounding the bladder, a lacing coupled to the at least one cover panel, a flap and an electronic circuit. The flap is coupled to the outer surface of the bladder and is generally positioned to align with the lacing. The electronic circuit is positioned on or beneath the flap. The electronic circuit includes at least one sensor and the electronic circuit is configured to produce a signal to enable at least one characteristic of the football to be monitored during use.

Abstract: A golf practice tee and ball assembly that includes a support tee member, a support frame member, and support hitter member that can be efficiently used to practice golf swings anywhere. The support tee member includes an external base with a spiked end and an internal receiving cavity with the internal receiving cavity including an o-ring gasket. The frame member is an L-Shaped rod with a first section of the rod having a convex knob formed thereon and a second section having a mounting hole at one end and the support hitter member at the other. The support hitter member includes a mounting section with an end of the mounting section mountable to the mounting hole of the second section of the L-Shaped rod and another sectional end having an impact absorbent ball. The L-Shaped rod can be placed into the support tee member by forcing the convex knob through the o-ring of the internal receiving cavity. The mounted support hitter member and L-Shaped rod is then revolvable about the support tee member.

Abstract: A softball pitching aid enables one to practice throwing rise balls and drop balls at slower speeds than that required by a standard softball. It comprises a ball with opposing convex surfaces at either end of and disposed about a central axis and a plurality of symmetrical slots protruding into its outer surface and disposed circumferentially along the central axis. The ball is constructed of polyurethane foam or other lightweight material. When thrown correctly, the slots interact with ambient air to cause the ball to rise or drop. The slots and lightweight material allow the ball to rise or drop at lower speeds. The slots further provide guidance for gripping the ball and leverage for increasing its spin rate during flight. The ball further comprises a two-tone coloring scheme that, in conjunction with the symmetrical slots, provides instant visual feedback during flight as to whether it was thrown correctly.

Abstract: A telescoping golf ball tee with an internal locking mechanism is provided. The internal locking mechanism permits the golf ball tee neck to adjust to a desired height while still supporting the weight of a golf ball. Upon impact, a bowl-like member at the base of the golf ball tee neck is forced into a cavity in the golf ball tee base which, in turn, applies force to the golf ball tee neck which prevents the neck from escaping the base.

Abstract: A ball (100) for use in bat and ball games wherein the ball is struck with a bat having an untensioned, rigid ball-striking surface, includes a hollow spherical impact body (112) having a mass of between 10 g and 50 g which enables the use of lightweight bats. The wall of the impact body is of a resiliently compressible material and defines a convexly curved impact zone IB. The ball further includes a flight control assembly (114) including a tail (50) comprising flexible streamers (52), a spacer stem (54) and an anchor fitting (126) for anchoring the spacer stem to the impact body. The configuration of the impact body is such that the impact zone compresses to a minimum compression depth of 12 mm and the impact body bounces to a height of at least 100 cm when the impact body is subjected to a drop test wherein the impact body is dropped onto a test impact surface.

Abstract: The jigsaw puzzle includes a baseplate used with attachable puzzle pieces. The baseplate has multiple upward-facing engagement mechanisms that are engaged with corresponding and complementary puzzle piece rear-facing engagement mechanisms. The rear-facing engagement mechanisms and the complementary puzzle piece rear-facing engagement mechanisms are designed so as to leave a space between the bottom of the puzzle piece and the top surface of the baseplate. Therefore, even when the puzzle piece rear-facing engagement mechanisms are engaged with the upward-facing engagement mechanisms, this space can accommodate the provided pry tool. The pry tool can be inserted in to the space to easily remove the puzzle pieces after play, storage, or display. Therefore, the puzzle can be used over and over.

Abstract: A golf green repair tool having a plurality of spears centered around a plurality of tines. The tines and spears are biased by a spring inside a housing and sleeve. When the cap the housing is pressed by the foot of a greenskeeper or golfer the spring is compressed forcing the tines and spears into the turf. The tines are inserted around the periphery of the ball-mark to aerate and loosen the turf. The spears are inserted into the center of the ball-mark and aerate and pull the bottom of the ball-mark to the level of the surrounding turf. The bottom side of the ground-contacting sleeve pressed down the raised rim of the ball-mark correcting the entire ball-mark to the level of the surrounding turf.

Abstract: The ball for ball games has a ball body and a spherical shell-shaped outer layer having a plurality of leather panels and disposed on the outside of the ball body. The plurality of leather panels each have a main body and an extending portion that is thinner than the main body and extends from a front-side portion of an outer end surface of the main body to configure an outer end surface of the leather panel. The extending portions of adjacent leather panels are bonded to each other with an adhesive and stitched together with a stitching thread. In the ball for ball games, the extending portion is provided with a reinforcing member for reinforcing an area thereof stitched with the stitching thread.
