Abstract: An auxiliary third brake light which is installed on a removable or collapsible truck bed enclosure or frame is disclosed. The auxiliary third brake light is preferably not physically secured by adhesive or mechanical fastener to the truck bed, cab or body or any part of the truck. Rather, the parts of the auxiliary third brake light that are mounted to the truck bed cover and contact the truck bed, cab or body is pressed into contact. In this way, when the truck bed cover is collapsed or removed, the user can have full use of the truck bed. The parts of the auxiliary third brake light that contact the truck bed, cab or body are pulled off therefrom. When the truck bed cover is deployed to the erected position or put back on the truck bed, the parts of the third brake light that contact the truck bed, cab or body are properly repositioned back into position.

  • Patent number: 11358610
Abstract: A vehicle alert apparatus acquires an object distance between an object and a vehicle, presumes a predicted moving route of the vehicle when the object distance is shorter than or equal to a threshold object distance. The vehicle alert apparatus calculates a collision distance which the vehicle has moves along the predicted moving route until the vehicle collides with the object or the vehicle has moved to a position closest to the object when determining that the vehicle potentially collides with the object, based on the predicted moving route. The vehicle alert apparatus performs a first alert when the collision distance is larger than a threshold collision distance. The vehicle alert apparatus performs a second alert having a higher alert level of alerting the driver than the alert level of the first alert when the collision distance is shorter than or equal to the threshold collision distance.

  • Patent number: 11295582
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a reception apparatus and method, a transmission apparatus and method, and a program, capable of obtaining desired communication quality. Under the control of a central control unit, a tactile signal generation unit generates a tactile signal of a necessary number. Under the control of the central control unit, a header generation unit generates header information including the presence or absence of the tactile signal (that is, information indicating whether or not the tactile signal is to be used for each of vibration units as information associated with the vibration unit that uses the tactile signal), the delay amount, and the magnitude. A signal coupling unit adds header information to each of the tactile signals from the tactile signal generation unit, and performs time-division multiplexing on each of the tactile signals to which the header information has been added.
