  • Patent number: 11579002
Abstract: A safety system for residential and commercial use includes a plurality of sensor modules that may be distributed about the environment, and that are in communication with a remote server environment and with other devices over a wireless communication network (e.g., cellular, Wi-Fi). Each sensor module includes a plurality of sensors that are capable of measuring or detecting characteristics of the environment such as smoke, small particulate, large particulate, chemicals, gasses, temperature, humidity, pressure, geolocation, and other characteristics. Analysis of sensor data is performed locally on the sensor module, as well as remotely on a server, in order to fuse and consider multiple sensor data points to identify emergency and non-emergency scenarios. By fusing and analyzing sensor data emergencies can be detected more quickly, and false alarms can be filtered out and avoided.

  • Patent number: 11559642
Abstract: An operating unit (2) sets ventilation parameters of a control unit (11) of a ventilator (1) that includes a gas dispensing device (10) for ventilation gases. The operating unit includes a display unit and an ventilation parameters input element (23, 24). Two or more of the parameters are linked via a relation condition stored in a relation storage module (40). A relation monitor (3) includes a deviation detector (31) detecting a transgression of the relation condition during parameter setting, and outputs warning information via a warning unit (32). This avoids a need for an operator to note the sometimes complicated connections and dependencies expressed in the relations during the parameter setting. The warning may be sent before the new setting value is sent from the operating unit to the control unit. Operating safety is increased and a risk of setting errors is minimized.

  • Patent number: 11538332
Abstract: An emergency system can access a variety of situational data items, such as video streams, facility information, and present and past incident data. The emergency system identifies data items that may be relevant to a particular incident and provides the relevant data items in one or more user interfaces. For example, the emergency system identifies relevant data items based on the reported location of the incident and the type of incident. As additional incident information is received or entered by telecommunicators, the emergency system can further filter and surface data items likely to be useful in responding to the incident. Certain data items may only be permitted to be viewed by certain types of users, or under certain conditions. The emergency system may ensure that data items are provided to authorized users and in permitted use cases.

  • Patent number: 11524537
Abstract: A vehicle, hitch, and articulating trailer include vehicle to vehicle and infrastructure communications and vehicle computing systems, which have a controller coupled to and/or including one or more of a dynamics measurement unit, a transceiver, and a position sensor, among other components. The controller(s) are configured to, in response to detecting positions of trailer corners from the position sensor, generate vehicle and trailer relative orientation and navigation data including location, velocity, and orientation, utilizing vehicle and trailer electronic polyhedrons articulating about a hitch point and representing the combination vehicle and trailer predicted path and envelopes. In response to detected trailer movement relative to the hitch point, the generated articulated polyhedrons are generated with the navigation data, which includes the location, speed, and orientation, which are in turn communicated to nearby vehicles and roadway infrastructure.

  • Patent number: 11527258
Abstract: A notification system includes: detection means (110) for detecting an acoustic event from voice data transmitted from a communication terminal held by a target person; and notification means (120) for sending a predetermined notification when the detection means (110) has detected the acoustic event. Accordingly, it is possible to determine the state of a target person regardless of the state of this person. Further, when the difference between an acoustic pattern of the voice data transmitted from the communication terminal and acoustic patterns registered in advance is outside a predetermined range, a management server (101) does not send a notification, whereby it is possible to prevent communication traffic from being increased based on unnecessary notifications.
