Abstract: A plastic football helmet has a shell with a left earflap in a left side region and a right earflap in a right side region, each ear flap having a non-circular ear hole, and an offset area defined on a top edge by a top banked portion and on a bottom edge by a bottom banked portion, the offset area extending continuously from the right ear flap, across the rear region, to the left ear flap. The non-circular ear holes are in the offset area. Both the top edge and the bottom edge of the offset area curve upward from the right ear flap to the rear region and curve upward from the left ear flap to the rear region. The top edge and bottom edge do not meet at any point such that offset area begins at an open right end in the right earflap and ends at an open left end in the left earflap. Cheek support are attached to the earflaps to improve retention of the helmet and provide protection to the cheek area against blows.

Abstract: The present application provides low thickness synthetic elastomeric gloves, comprising (a) a thickness at the palm of less than 0.050 mm; (a) a modulus at 500% above 6.5 MPa; and/or (c) an elongation at break below 700%. Also provided is a method for the manufacture of such gloves involving dipping a glove-shaped former into an elastomeric film-forming composition; and curing the elastomeric film-forming composition on the former so as to produce the synthetic elastomeric glove. Corresponding low thickness finger cots are also described, as are formers suitable for the preparation of such gloves.
Abstract: A nested glove assembly that includes a first glove that includes a front, a back, a thumb side, a pinky side, a first cuff and a plurality of finger portions that cooperate to define a first glove interior, and a second glove that includes a front, a back, a thumb side, a pinky side, and a second cuff and a plurality of finger portions that cooperate to define a second glove interior. A first tab extends from the first cuff and the second glove is positioned in the first glove interior.
Abstract: A sewing machine includes a bed portion, a conveyance portion, a sewing portion, an image capture portion, a projector, a processor, and a memory. The conveyance portion is configured to convey a sewing object placed on the bed portion. The memory is configured to store marker information and computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, instruct the processor to perform processes. The processes include causing the image capture portion to perform the image capture at a predetermined timing, during a conveyance period, identifying the marker in a captured image, using the marker information stored in the memory, identifying a projection position corresponding to the identified marker, when the marker is identified, and causing the projector to project the projection image indicating the identified projection position, while following a movement of the marker on the sewing object being conveyed.

Abstract: Provided is a sewing machine in which a stitching needle and a holding frame holding an article to be sewn are positioned relative to each other based on sewing pattern data defining a plurality of needle drop positions, and sewing is performed in accordance with a sewing pattern. The sewing machine includes: an imager for capturing an image of the holding frame; a position detector for detecting, from the image captured by the imager, the position of an indicator indicating a reference position marked in an object to be imaged; and a corrector which, based on a deviation of a detected position of the indicator detected by the position detector with respect to a regular position defined in advance for the indicator, corrects a plurality of needle drop positions defined in the sewing pattern data.
Abstract: A glove is provided and includes a cuff providing an opening to the glove. A back panel defines a first portion of finger sheaths and a thumb sheath and extends along the finger sheaths and the thumb sheath to the cuff. A palm panel is disposed on an opposite side of the glove from the back panel and defines a second portion of the finger sheaths and the thumb sheath. The palm panel is formed from a material having a greater coefficient of friction than a material of the back panel and extends along the finger sheaths and the thumb sheath to the cuff. The palm panel tapers in a direction from the finger sheaths to the cuff.
