Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for providing a continuous mirroring session between a monitored data compute node (DCN) and a monitoring DCN. The method provides such uninterrupted mirroring session regardless of relocations of the DCNs during the mirroring session. In some embodiments, the method dynamically switches between local mirroring and remote mirroring based on the positions of the monitored DCN and the monitoring DCN. Upon receiving a data message from a port of a forwarding element (i.e., a monitored port), to which a monitored DCN is coupled, the method duplicates the data message. The method then sends the duplicated data message either to a monitoring DCN that executes on the same host machine, or adds particular tunneling data to the duplicated data message and tunnels the duplicated data message to a remote host machine, on which the monitoring DCN executes.

Abstract: A method comprises establishing a video conference between at least two instances of a media application over a relay connection; in response to determining that the video conference comprises only two instances of the media application: receiving, from a first instance of the two instances of the media application, a plurality of candidate addresses for a peer to peer (P2P) connection with a second instance of the two instances of the media application; sending, to the second instance of the media application, the plurality of candidate addresses, wherein the P2P connection is established using a particular candidate address of the plurality of candidate addresses; after the P2P is established, maintaining the relay connection in an inactive state while media data for the video conference is sent over the P2P connection until a switch-over event occurs, wherein metadata is sent over the relay connection to keep the relay connection in the inactive state.

Abstract: An application program spans a plurality of digital social networks. The application program includes an inferred digital social network. Consent is obtained from a plurality of users of the digital social networks to participation in the inferred digital social network. Information is automatically obtained from the digital social networks for the users, through a plurality of respective communication channels, which can be application program interfaces or covert or subliminal channels. The information includes link information between each of the users and other individuals in the digital social networks. The information is aggregated for the users to form the inferred digital social network, corresponding to a graph having nodes representing the users and the other individuals and having links between the nodes representing social relationships.

The method includes creating a plurality of user sessions each comprising a unique session ID and allocating server resources to each user session. The method further includes creating a plurality of sets of virtual devices. Each set of the plurality of sets of virtual devices is associated with a respective session ID. The method further includes executing an application of a plurality of applications within a user session of the plurality of user sessions and receiving a request from the application. The method further includes sending the request to a first virtual device of a set of virtual devices based on a session ID. The sending is performed by a single operating system and the single operating system is configured to route requests between applications and the plurality of sets of virtual devices based on the session IDs.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method carried out at a network device for restarting one or more components of the network device, comprising the steps of monitoring whether at least one condition has been satisfied at any component of the network device. If at least one condition satisfied, one or more components are restarted of the network device, based, at least in part, on the at least one condition. When the network device has been restarted a management server is informed that one or more components of the network device have been restarted. According to the present invention, whether a configuration has been received for the network device is determined from a user or administrator at the management server. When a configuration has been received the configuration is retrieved from the management server. The network device is then configured with the configuration retrieved.

A Web browser of the computing unit transmits information corresponding to the physiological measurement apparatus and a request for a resource to a Web server. In response to receiving the request, the Web server transmits to the kiosk profile-specific Web content responsive to the request and specific to the received profile information. Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus are described providing social networking engines. Specifically, the present specification relates to a method for implementing software containers implementing social network engines that may be configured to act in a zero-knowledge environment. In such implementations, all information pertaining to the social network engine associated with a user that is stored in the container is solely that of a user unless explicitly shared by the user. In some implementations, the containers may be configured to participate in a publish-and-subscribe network in order to share information.
