  • Patent number: 9830537
Abstract: An image forming apparatus can inhibit occurrence of defective images caused when a buffer consumption amount in sector correction exceeds a previously estimated capacity. The image forming apparatus comprises a line buffer for temporarily storing image data. The image forming apparatus performs correction processing of the image data to correct distortion of the image to store the corrected image data in the line buffer. Further, the image forming apparatus forms images on a recording medium based on the image data having experienced the correction processing. The CPU of the image forming apparatus determines whether a size of the image data having experienced the distortion correction by a first correction value based on a sector correction seed value exceeds the number of lines in the line buffer. If it is determined that it exceeds the number of lines, the CPU obtains a second correction value, correcting the first value.

  • Patent number: 9817618
Abstract: To provide an image forming system, an image forming device, a mobile communication terminal, and a relay server, all of which are interrelated to each other such that the mobile communication terminal is capable of remotely controlling the image forming device without having to conduct a confirmation of the image forming device. When a user changes a setting value through a setting value operation screen that appears on an operation panel, the mobile communication terminal transmits a setting value change demand notification including the changing setting value to the relay server. The relay server compares the preceding setting value to a setting value of the image forming device that the relay server stores currently to detect a setting value of the image forming device which is to be rewritten. The relay server rewrites the resulting setting value.

Abstract: An automatic document feeding device includes a conveyance unit, an image reading unit, a color reference member, a moving assembly, and a drive source. The drive source includes a rotation output shaft to drive the conveyance unit and the moving assembly. The drive source changes the rotation output shaft from a forward rotation direction to a reverse rotation direction to reversely rotate the rotation output shaft to a set reverse rotation angle set in advance, according to a condition of conveyance of the document. In a rotation transmission route from the rotation output shaft to the moving assembly, the movement regulator is disposed in a first reverse rotation drive region from when a rotation direction of the rotation output shaft is changed to the reverse rotation direction to when a rotation angle of the rotation output shaft after the change in the reverse rotation direction reaches the set reverse rotation angle.
