  • Patent number: 11141558
Abstract: A mental targeting system. The mental targeting system has a housing which includes a base, at least one sidewall extending from the base, and a top surface, all of which defines an interior volume. A control circuit is disposed in the interior volume which is in electrical communication with a speaker, a microphone, a projector, a plurality of buttons, and a non-transitory computer readable medium. The speaker is disposed in a sidewall and plays sounds stored in the non-transitory computer readable medium. The projector includes a projection lens, and is disposed on the top of the housing where it projects light through a removably securable disc. A slot disposed in the sidewall below the projection lens is used to deposit and retrieve the disc. Full insertion of the disc into the slot positions a portion of the disc directly below, and parallel with, the projection lens.

  • Patent number: 11141555
Abstract: An apparatus for stimulating neurons that includes a stimulation unit for applying pulse-like tones, a measuring unit for picking up measurement signals that render neural activity by the stimulated neurons, a control. The control unit applies a first pulse train having varied pitch, takes the measurement signals picked up in response to the first pulse train to select a first pitch range or pitch in which there is phase synchronization between the pulse train and the neural activity, actuates the stimulation unit to apply two phase-shifted second pulse trains, the pitch of the pulse trains being varied in opposite directions and a pitch starting value of the second pulse trains based on first pitch range or pitch that is used to select a second pitch range or pitch resulting in minimum amplitude of the neural activity.

  • Patent number: 11122985
Abstract: A stimulating section applies stimulation to a living body. A first lead electrode and a second lead electrode are attached on the living body. A first amplifier circuit amplifies potential difference that is evoked between the first lead electrode and the second lead electrode due to the stimulation. A first switch cancels electrical connection between the first amplifier circuit and each of the first lead electrode and the second lead electrode at least while the stimulation is applied. A high-pass filter includes a capacitor (C) and filters a frequency component of an output from the first amplifier circuit that is no less than a predetermined value. A second amplifier circuit amplifies the output from the first amplifier circuit. A second switch stops charging/discharging of the capacitor (C) and decreases a gain of the second amplifier circuit at least while the first switch cancels the electrical connection.

  • Patent number: 11103155
Abstract: Methods, devices and systems for determining the frequency of a periodic physiological process of a subject, particularly respiration rate or heart rate, are disclosed. In one arrangement plural time windows of physiological data are obtained. Reference features corresponding to modulation modes are identified. Modulations of the reference features are extracted. Quality parameters are obtained by processing the extracted modulations. The quality parameters represent how strongly the extracted modulation exhibits a waveform of the periodic physiological process. The extracted modulations are processed to calculate the frequency of the periodic physiological process of the subject.

  • Patent number: 11103191
Abstract: In various embodiments, a first classification assigned to a periodic component of an electrical waveform that represents electrical activity in a patient's heart may be identified (302). A corresponding periodic component of a hemodynamic waveform that represents hemodynamic activity in the patient's cardiovascular system may be analyzed (306, 318, 328). The corresponding periodic component may be causally related to the periodic component of the electrical waveform. Based on the analysis, the previously-assigned classification may be assigned (312, 324) to the corresponding periodic component of the hemodynamic waveform in response to a determination, based on the analyzing, that the previously-assigned classification also applies to the corresponding periodic component.
