  • Patent number: 11070478
Abstract: A method for managing traffic of a plurality of packets in a plurality of packet flows transmitted using a time-slotted interface. The packet flows traverse a plurality of switches of a transport network according to an assigned path from a source node to a destination node. The method comprises determining an end-to-end latency of a plurality of packets traversing a current switch in packet flows and assigning priority values to the packets traversing the current switch, wherein a priority value of a packet depends on the determined end-to-end latency of said packets. The method further comprises allocating a time slot in an output interface of the current switch to the packet having the highest priority value among the packets competing for said time slot.

  • Patent number: 11071149
Abstract: Systems and methods of performing a RACH procedure in a MulteFire scenario are described. An eMTC UE communicates with an eNB on an anchor channel at a predetermined frequency of an unlicensed band and data channels on other frequency hopping channels of the unlicensed band. The UE receives a PBCH signal with System Information Broadcast Anchor (SIB-A-MF) scheduling information, and a SIB-A-MF after the PBCH. The SIB-A-MF indicates a RAC) resource configuration for a RACH procedure and dwell time of the data channels. The dwell time of the anchor channel is smaller than that of the data channels. The anchor channel includes a UL RACH resource for transmission of a RACH Request. The UE transmits UL RACH messages on UL resources indicated by the SIB-A-MF and receives DL RACH messages on different data channels.

  • Patent number: 11057139
Abstract: Mitigation of inter-base station resynchronization loss in wireless networks including contention-based shared frequency spectrum is discussed. Aspects of such mitigation provide for base stations entering into an idle mode when a transmission opportunity occurs in a radio frame of the next resynchronization occasion. Additional aspects provide for the base station to signal a flexible listen before talk (LBT) frame length to the user equipment (UE), either with or without explicit signaling of the downlink-uplink division. Further aspects provide for the base station to signal a reset indication to UEs that will prompt the UEs to monitor for downlink channel reserving signals prior to the current LBT frame ending by the resynchronization occasion.
