  • Patent number: 11368940
Abstract: A system includes at least one computer-readable storage medium storing a set of instructions and at least one processor in communication with the at least one computer-readable storage medium. When executing the instructions, the system is directed to receive, from a user of a second wireless network, a request to transmit second wireless network data over a first wireless network and determine a protocol based on one or more parameters associated with the first wireless network and the second wireless network for transmitting the data. The protocol may indicate a resource allocation between second wireless network data transmission and first wireless network data transmission. The system is further directed to obtain information related to a first spectrum of the first wireless network for transmitting the second wireless network data based on the protocol and transmit, to the user, the information related to the first spectrum.

  • Patent number: 11349995
Abstract: A method for providing Internet access to a customer of a service provider wherein the service provider takes over the costs for the customer's Internet use. The method includes the customer's user equipment generating a service start notification message to a server of the service provider in response to the customer agreeing to the service and commencement of use of the service. The service start notification message triggers sending a query to a database of the service provider containing customer data, and confirming the customer has access rights for getting Internet access at the service provider's expenses. The service provider generates and sends out a request message to the mobile communication provider of the customer and requests an intermediate change of the customer's mobile communication contract so the costs for loading Internet data on the customer's user equipment will be temporarily charged to the service provider rather than the customer.

  • Patent number: 11349532
Abstract: Systems and methods herein disclose determining anchor assignment for one or more user devices (UEs). The system comprises at least a first node configured to wirelessly communicate with one or more UEs in a geographic service area. The system determines the location of at least one UE within the geographic area. A sector power ratio for the first node is determined to be above a predetermined threshold. Based on this determination, the system modifies an upper limit of the quantity of UEs that are permitted to be assigned to communicate using the MU-MIMO group to a second upper limit. At least one UE previously assigned to a single user MIMO is re-assigned to the MU-MIMO such that the second upper limit of the MU-MIMO group is not exceeded.

  • Patent number: 11330399
Abstract: In non-limiting examples of the present disclosure, systems, methods and devices for surfacing alerts are provided. A monitoring service may monitor a plurality of devices associated with a group. The group may include a plurality of accounts. Each account may be associated with a different location control list. The location control list may include locational information comprising geocoordinates of locations that a corresponding user is approved to visit and temporal information corresponding to times, days of the week, and/or dates when a corresponding user is approved to visit a location. If a determination is made that a device associated with an account is at a location that is not included in a location control list for the account, an anomaly alert may be surfaced on one or more devices associated with other group members. The alert may be surfaced in association with a safety score for the location.

  • Patent number: 11304110
Abstract: In one embodiment, a mobile receiver of a mobile station in communication with a current base station of a plurality of base stations receives hello packets from one or more base stations the plurality of base stations, each hello packet including a base station identifier that identifies which base station transmitted that packet. The receiver determines, based on the hello packets, signal strength values associated with each of the plurality of base stations. The receiver periodically analyzes the signal strength values associated with the current base station, to determine whether those signal strength values exceed a threshold value associated with the current base station.

  • Patent number: 11265214
Abstract: Updated radio protocol data may be propagated in a peer-to-peer (P2P) distribution scheme so that peer devices that are incompatible with a particular radio protocol may be dynamically re-configured to communicate with other devices using the particular radio protocol. A remote server(s) may push updated radio protocol data to a hub device, which thereafter disseminates the radio protocol data to other peer devices. These peer devices can forward the data to downstream peer devices, and so on, without further intervention by the remote server(s) that initiated the distribution. The transfer of radio protocol data over P2P connections may occur using a broadcasting technique where, prior to the transfer, a device in possession of the radio protocol data broadcasts an indication to nearby peer devices, which can receive the broadcast and indicate to the broadcaster whether they are ready to receive the radio protocol data.
