Abstract: An electronic device with a display and a fingerprint sensor displays a fingerprint enrollment interface and detects, on the fingerprint sensor, a plurality of finger gestures performed with a finger. The device collects fingerprint information from the plurality of finger gestures performed with the finger. After collecting the fingerprint information, the device determines whether the collected fingerprint information is sufficient to enroll a fingerprint of the finger. When the collected fingerprint information for the finger is sufficient to enroll the fingerprint of the finger, the device enrolls the fingerprint of the finger with the device. When the collected fingerprint information for the finger is not sufficient to enroll the fingerprint of the finger, the device displays a message in the fingerprint enrollment interface prompting a user to perform one or more additional finger gestures on the fingerprint sensor with the finger.

Abstract: Operating a computerized system includes presenting user interface elements on a display screen. A first gesture made in a three-dimensional space by a by a distal portion of an upper extremity of a user is detected while a segment of the distal portion thereof rests on a surface. In response to the first gesture, an area of the display screen selected by the user is identified, and a corresponding user interface element is displayed. After displaying the corresponding user interface element, a second gesture made by the distal portion is detected while the segment continues to rest on the surface so as to select one of the user interface elements that appears in the selected area.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed to managing user interfaces. User interface (UI) models associated with concepts may be provided such that the UI models include visualizations. Other concepts may be associated with a data model based on fields of the data model. Characteristics of the concepts associated with each UI model and the other concepts associated with the data model may be compared to each other such that results of each comparison may be employed to generate a score for each UI model. The UI models may be ordered based on each score. A report that includes a rank ordered list of the UI models may be provided.
Abstract: Systems and methods of visually indicating on a user interface of an electronic reader the lengths, types of content, structure and current location of a user within a corpus of electronic content are presented. The corpus of electronic content may be converted into contiguous visual sections and contiguous thumbnails (of the visual sections). The user interface includes a content strip tray displaying a viewable portion of the thumbnails and a main viewing area displaying a viewable portion of the visual sections. An accent effect may be displayed over the viewable portion of the thumbnails that corresponds with the viewable portion of the visual sections currently displayed in the main viewing area to indicate a location of the user in the electronic content. Additionally, headers, location markers, assignments and notes may be displayed on the viewable portion of the thumbnails.

Abstract: A presentation document specifying a graphical layout of a user interface is received. A processor extracts a first user interface graphical feature from the presentation document. The extracted first user interface graphical feature is matched to one or more first candidate user interface graphical features to determine a first selected candidate user interface graphical feature. A user interface code representation of the user interface is synthesized based upon the first selected candidate user interface graphical feature.

Abstract: A mobile terminal device includes a display section having a display screen, an input section having a touch input region on the display screen, and a control section for displaying a plurality of keys. The display screen is provided as a software keyboard where a touch operation on a specific key causes an input of the specific key. In the specific display region on the display screen that can display operation keys on the software keyboard, the control section selects these keys from a previously prepared set of input candidate key groups. In response to a specific operation on the specific display region, the control section allows the plurality of keys to be displayed on the specific display region. In response to touch on a desired key in the specific display region, the control section determines that an input of the key has been performed.
Abstract: Embodiments provide integrated reply functionality within the context of a contact card or panel. Contact information is provided for display in the contact card (e.g., a portion of a user interface of a computing device). The contact information is associated with a contact. The contact information identifies one or more transport modes for communication with the contact. In some embodiments, the computing device receives a request from a user to communicate with the contact via at least one selected transport mode. Based on the received request, the computing device provides an input field within the contact card. In other embodiments, the transport mode is automatically selected and the input field is displayed. Data from the user is received into the input field for communication to the contact. The computing device sends the data received into the input field to the contact via the selected transport mode.

Abstract: Implementations generally relate to enhancing information in a three-dimensional map (3D). In some implementations, a method includes determining, using a client device, user information associated with a user. The method further includes generating a 3D map of a physical environment based on the user information. The method further includes determining relevant information based on the user information. The method further includes displaying the relevant information in the 3D map in a user interface of the client device.
Abstract: An electronic device and a controlling method of an electronic device are provided. The electronic device includes a display and a processor configured to control the display to display multimedia content with a 360-degree angle of view at a first viewing angle, control the display to display, on the multimedia content, a first user interface (UI) element to change the first viewing angle to a predetermined viewing angle and display the multimedia content at the predetermined viewing angle. Further, in response to the first UI element being selected, the processor is further configured to control the display to display a viewing angle option list to select one of a plurality predefined viewing angles.
Abstract: Systems and methods for an interactive graphical user interface for depicting the status of a claim are provided. The system includes a database for storing claim data and a server in communication with the database. The stored claim data includes a claim workflow associated the claim. The workflow defines the processing steps associated with processing the claim. The server receives a user request to check the status of the claim. The server determines status data of the claim based on stored claim data and outputs the status data to a graphical user interface for depicting a graphical representation of the status data. The graphical representation includes a timeline corresponding to the workflow of the claim and a progress bar indicative of the status of the claim.
Abstract: Embodiments relate to controlling display of a document, where the document comprises multiple columns. An aspect includes displaying the columns of the document in a viewport, receiving a user input defining a downwards scrolling for the document. Another aspect includes determining the lowest numbered column that does not have its lowest point displayed in the viewport. Another aspect includes scrolling upwards only the lowest numbered column that does not have its lowest point displayed in the viewport, while maintaining all other columns stationary in the viewport.

Abstract: Systems and methods enable displaying a graphical representation of system resource usage in a resource utilization map to inform users about system resource utilization by applications and processes running on a computing device. Users may provide inputs to enable the system to adjust resource allocations based on user preferences. This may enable users to improve the overall operational performance of the device consistent with their current personal preferences by identifying applications or processes of most or least interest so the device processor to prioritize system resources accordingly. Some aspects transmit resource allocation data based on such user input to a central server to enable community based resource allocation schemes. Community based resource allocation schemes may be transmitted to computing devices for use as default or preliminary resource allocations for particular applications, websites or device operating states.
