  • Patent number: 11195341
Abstract: Eyewear providing an interactive augmented reality experience to allow a user of an eyewear device to display a 3D overlay image on a viewed person. The user can select the overlay image from a list of images, such as costumes, stored in memory or generated by the user. The images can be sorted in memory based on common attributes. Registration points of the person are continuously aligned with registration points of the overlay as the person moves such that the user appears to be wearing the 3D costume during movement. By aligning the registration points, the costume adapts to different body types and heights. The coloring of the costume can change based on the environment, such as the lighting, or to contrast with colors viewed in a viewfinder.

  • Patent number: 11194530
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a display, an imaging camera, a storage device, and a control device. The imaging camera captures an image of a user around the image forming apparatus. The storage device previously stores face images of users. When an instruction for executing a job is given by a user, the control device causes the image forming apparatus to execute the job instructed. When detecting a face image from the captured image captured by the imaging camera while causing the image forming apparatus to execute a job, the controller determines if the detected face image matches with any of the face images stored in the storage device, approves the face image determined to match, and causes the display to display a status of a waiting-for-execution job that is instructed by the user whom the approved face image indicates and different from the job under execution.

  • Patent number: 11119334
Abstract: Embodiments relate to efficiently viewing data items in a three-dimensional (3D) space. The 3D space includes a curved surface that is concave with respect to a user-controlled viewpoint in the 3D space. The viewpoint is for controlling the direction and location of a rendered view of the 3D space. The data items have respective values associated therewith. The data items are arranged on the surface according to their values so that a user's ease of viewing the data items varies with their values; data items with some values may be arranged to be easier to view by manipulating the view direction than others (e.g., those with lower values). Ease of viewing can stem from how the surface is oriented relative to the viewpoint, the orientation of the curvature of the surface, the orientation of a controlling reference orientation, alignment of the data items on the surface, etc.
