  • Patent number: 11966423
Abstract: A user selects a node that specifies an operation for a dataset. In response, a computer system displays data values for the dataset, in a grid in a data pane. The grid includes a first column and a second column. In the grid, the user edits a first data value in the first column in a first row. The user input changes the first data value to a replacement data value. The computer system identifies a second data value in the second column in the first row, and identifies one or more additional rows in the grid, whose data values for the first column and the second column match the first data value and the second data value. The computer system then updates the data value in the first column for a second row in the grid to the replacement data value.

  • Patent number: 11960518
Abstract: Embodiments relate to a system (100) comprising one or more processors (110) and one or more storage devices (120). The system (100) is configured to receive biology-related language-based search data (101) and generate a first high-dimensional representation of the biology-related language-based search data (101) by a trained language recognition ma-chine-learning algorithm executed by the one or more processors (110). The first high-dimensional representation comprises at least 3 entries each having a different value. Further, the system is configured to obtain a plurality of second high-dimensional representations (105) of a plurality of biology-related image-based input data sets or of a plurality of biology-related language-based input data sets and compare the first high-dimensional representation with each second high-dimensional representation of the plurality of second high-dimensional representations (105).

  • Patent number: 11940986
Abstract: Techniques are described for performing automated operations related to identifying and using repair and maintenance status information, such as summarizing and encoding such information for one or more repair areas or other target domains, identifying specific repair or maintenance status information in response to natural language queries, and using the identified repair status information in further automated manners in some situations (e.g., to automatically initiate repair or maintenance actions on a particular target computing device). Identifying of specific repair status information in response to a particular natural language query may include initially identifying one or more candidate data groupings that match an encoded version of the natural language query (e.g., extracting encoded data groupings that match a generated version of the query), and optionally further analyzing one or more matching candidate data groupings as part of determining the actual response.

  • Patent number: 11940967
Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards a method for searching data. The method comprises providing an inverted index that comprises at least one record, wherein the at least one record comprises at least one field name and a corresponding at least one field value. The at least one field name and corresponding value are extracted from time-stamped searchable events that are stored in a field searchable datastore and comprise portions of raw data. The at least one record further comprises a posting value that identifies a location in the field searchable datastore where an event associated with the at least one record is stored. The method further comprises evaluating an incoming search query that references a field name. Responsive to the evaluating, the method comprises determining results for the incoming search query by executing the incoming search query across the field searchable datastore or the inverted index.

  • Patent number: 11934419
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for displaying a search result in a user interface comprising a sequence of K table rows, a sequence of first type columns (named regular columns) and a sequence of B second type columns (named braided columns), the search result comprising values of attributes. The method includes creating a structure that includes a sequence table rows and a sequence of regular columns and a sequence of braided columns. The method selects a row of the sequence of rows and a braided column of the braided columns for displaying the search result. In each regular column a regular cell that is included in the selected row may be defined. From a braided column a braided cell may be defined that includes in the selected row and subsequent B?1 rows. The attributes values are displayed in the defined regular and braided cells.

  • Patent number: 11907197
Abstract: Systems, methods, and machine-readable media are disclosed for isolating and reporting a volume placement error for a request to place a volume on a storage platform. A volume placement service requests information from a database using an optimized database query to determine an optimal location to place a new volume. The database returns no results. The volume placement service deconstructs the optimized database query to extract a plurality of queries. The volume placement service iterates over the plurality queries, combining queries in each iteration, to determine a cause for the database to return no results. The volume placement service determines based on the results of each iterative database request a cause the database to return an empty result. The volume placement service provides an indication of the cause for returning an empty result.

  • Patent number: 11892993
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and techniques for resolving dangling references resulting from a dependency relationship between computing resource objects uncovered during a harvesting process. In embodiments, a harvester application adds computing resource objects associated with a client to a resource collection as those computing resource objects are identified. Dependencies are identified as each computing resource object is added to the resource collection, which are resolved only if the computing resource objects associated with those dependencies have already been added to the resource collection. If the computing resource objects associated with the dependencies have not already been added to the resource collection, then the dependency is added to an observer pool. Observer modules are configured to check each computing resource object as it is processed during the harvest process in order to match those computing resource objects to unresolved dependencies.

  • Patent number: 11860881
Abstract: A method, system, and processor-readable storage medium are directed towards generating a report derived from data, such as event data, stored on a plurality of distributed nodes. In one embodiment the analysis is generated using a “divide and conquer” algorithm, such that each distributed node analyzes locally stored event data while an aggregating node combines these analysis results to generate the report. In one embodiment, each distributed node also transmits a list of event data references associated with the analysis result to the aggregating node. The aggregating node may then generate a global ordered list of data references based on the list of event data references received from each distributed node. Subsequently, in response to a user selection of a range of global event data, the report may dynamically retrieve event data from one or more distributed nodes for display according to the global order.

  • Patent number: 11841852
Abstract: A database system may receive a natural language query that is associated with a tenant of a multi-tenant system. The natural language query may be parsed into a set of tokens, and the set of tokens may be tagged, using a tenant specific tagging model associated with the tenant, the set of tokens with at least one pre-configured data type identifier that is configured for the plurality of tenants. A global tagging model that supports the plurality of tenants of the multi-tenant system may tag the set of tokens with at least one category identifier. The global tagging model may use the natural language query and the pre-configured data type identifier to identify the at least one category identifier. The system may execute a database query on a database associated with the tenant using the at least one pre-configured data type identifier and the at least one category identifier.

  • Patent number: 11809421
Abstract: Systems and methods for storing and querying voluminous “big data” are described, with application to append-only hyperscale databases. The methods dispense with blob abstractions such as objects and file systems, instead storing data as addressable binary sequences at all stages of storage and querying. In particular, a microservices architecture system arrangement combines with a powerful data format to create an architecture for executing an external query using a distributed process.

  • Patent number: 11797544
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for dynamically generating a data set representative of search results in response to a query and using the data set to accurately rank search results in response to a domain specific search query. Upon receiving the search query, features of the query and features of each search result are extracted. A relevance ranking may be assigned to each search result based on a comparison of the features of the query and each search result. The relevance ranking of each search result may be adjusted based on metrics related to user interactions. A data set may be created which includes the query, search results, extracted features, and metrics. The data set may be used to train a machine learning model to accurately determine a ranking of search results in response to a subsequent search query.
