The storage unit can include one or several storage receptacles and a control unit that controls and monitors the status of the one or several storage receptacles. The storage unit may be included in a storage unit system that can include one or several storage units and a central control unit. The central control unit can communicate with the one or several storage units, and can receive status and availability updates from the one or several storage units.

Abstract: A desktop includes a first portion, a second portion, and a linkage assembly attached to the first and second portions. The first desktop portion has a first, substantially planar, upper surface, and an edge. The second desktop portion has a second, substantially planar, upper surface, a proximal edge, and a distal edge. The linkage assembly is configured such that the second desktop portion is movable between a first configuration and a second configuration. At the first configuration, the second desktop portion is substantially coplanar with the first desktop portion, and the proximal edge of the second desktop portion is adjacent the edge of the first desktop portion. At the second configuration, the proximal edge of the second desktop portion is beneath the edge of the first desktop portion, and the second desktop portion is not coplanar with the first desktop portion and is not parallel to the first desktop portion.

Abstract: A refrigerator front frame for a refrigerator appliance, includes: four extruded plastic profiles; four corner connecting pieces configured to join the four extruded plastic profiles to form the refrigerator front frame, wherein a co-extruded, thin metal strip is embedded within a wall of each of the four extruded plastic profiles so as to be near an outer surface of a corresponding extruded plastic profile as compared to an overall wall thickness of the corresponding extruded plastic profile.

Abstract: A height adjustable desk includes a work surface, a first telescoping leg, a second telescoping leg, a driving device, and a switch device. The first telescoping leg and the second telescoping leg are connected to the work surface, and are driven by the driving device to lift or low the work surface to any desired height. The switch device is mounted on the first telescoping leg to be activated when the work surface is moved to a predetermined position. The switch device will turn the motor off to stop the work surface when the switch device is activated.

Abstract: A modular flooring system comprises a modular floor surface and a plurality of stackable, three-dimensional modular interior design components (MIDCs). The modular floor surface can comprise an array of discrete, raised, low-profile, receiving panels that can be rectangular in shape. MIDCs can be securely and interchangeably placed on any group of one or more adjacent unoccupied receiving panel and they can also be stackable, such that various different floor layouts can be created. Each of the MIDCs may comprise a lower surface recess that fits over a group of one or more adjacent raised receiving panels. A first MIDC may have an raised lip on a top surface such that the lower surface recess of a second MIDC fits over, separately and interchangeably, one (or more) of the raised receiving panels and the raised lip on the top surface of the first MIDC.

Abstract: A folding leg assembly including a first brace member secured to a first leg and a second brace member secured to a second leg. Each brace member includes an upper portion secured to the respective leg, a lower portion secured adjacent the bottom of the furniture support structure, to and a pivot member for connecting the upper portion to the lower portion such that each brace member is movable between an extended position and a collapsed position. A handle is disposed between the first brace member and the second brace member and is configured to assist in manipulating the pivot members of the first and second brace members between the extended position and the collapsed position.

Abstract: A lighting device includes a light emitting diode (LED) that has a main axis of light emission. The lighting device also includes a lens element positioned adjacent the LED. The lens element has a geometry defined by at least partial revolution of a cross-sectional profile around an axis of revolution. The lens element is positioned relative to the LED such that the axis of revolution crosses the main axis of light emission of the LED. The lens element is operative to apply total internal reflection to at least some light rays emitted from the LED.

Abstract: A door rack for a domestic refrigeration appliance has a basic body which is configured for receiving items to be stored, a rear wall and a forwardly oriented upper bow directed away from the rear wall of the basic body. A plate which is separate from the basic body forms the bottom of the door rack and is latched on the basic body by way of a latching device. A reach-through region is formed between the upper bow and the plate in the end position of the plate in which it is arranged on the basic body. There is also described a domestic refrigeration appliance having a door rack.

Abstract: A height-adjustable medicine cart is an apparatus which eliminates the need for medical staff to push around traditional medicine carts. The apparatus includes a cabinet and a height adjustment mechanism. The cabinet is designed to safely store medical supplies and medicine. The cabinet facilitates the storage and retrieval of the contents while preventing access to the stored contents from unauthorized users. The height-adjustment mechanism enables the mounting of the cabinet adjacent to a wall while also enabling the users to adjust the height of the cabinet. The cabinet includes a receptacle body, and the height adjustment mechanism includes a first rail, a second rail, a first carriage, and a second carriage. The receptacle body stores the medical supplies and the medicine. The first carriage and the second carriage slidably connect the receptacle body to the first rail and the second rail to enable the height adjustment of the cabinet.
