    Abstract: Implementing a digital contact sheet generator includes receiving input parameters from a remotely located user to create a table. The table includes one or more table cells, each of which comprises a text cell and an image cell. The input parameters define an appearance of the contact sheet and the table. Each table cell is formatted by selecting an image from a set of source media and calculating a size of the image cell associated with the particular table cell. A location of the image cell within the particular table cell is then determined and the image is resized. The image cell is repositioned and the resized image is drawn in the image cell.

The scenario creating section provides a display of an execution icon on the display screen for causing the scenario creating section to execute a process. When a file icon for a source file of a predetermined format including pagewise scenario information and image information is dragged and dropped on the execution icon by means of operation of the pointing device, a scenario file is created on the basis of the scenario information, and an image file of the predetermined format is generated on the basis of the image information.

The zoom function allows a viewbox, comprising content, to be rescaled as a function of the distance the scroll handle is dragged. A displaybox can be created that distinguishes an area of the viewbox from the remainder of the display, which corresponds to content in the viewbox that would be displayed in normal zoom if the scroll handle were released at that location. Further, upon detecting that the scroll handle is released, the display area can zoom to a view of the content inside the distinguished area.
