Abstract: A method is disclosed for portraying physical visual attention cues or visual cues normally present in a conventional physical world in a virtual conference or class. The visual cues can be emulated by electronic signals in a video environment through physical interactions with the computer input by the user or participant of the virtual conference or image recognition algorithms provided by the video conferencing system.

Abstract: A content management system rendering a file sharing GUI on a first device which is communicatively coupled to a content management system and associated with a first user having an account with the content management system. A file to be shared with a second user is identified in response to the file being selected and dragged. In response to the file being identified, a contact section displaying contact icons is rendered. The selected file is released on a displayed contact icon and a user identifier, e.g., an email address or account, associated with the displayed contact icon is identified. In response to the user identifier being identified, the selected file is shared with a second user associated with the user identified.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media configured to detect access by a user to an original content item relating to a story. At least one of a comments based technique, a token based technique, and a tag based technique is performed on content items. Constraints are applied to identify at least one follow up content item from the content items relating to a development of the story.

Abstract: Techniques to configure the network distribution of media compositions for reception are described. An apparatus may comprise a user interface component operative to display a messaging interface in association with a first user account with a messaging system, the messaging interface comprising a visual indicator for a second user account with the messaging system, the visual indicator comprising a media composition availability indicator, the media composition availability indicator associated with an inclusion of the first user account in a media composition distribution group for the second user account; receive a user selection of the media composition availability indicator in the messaging interface; and display the media composition in response to the user selection of the media composition availability indicator; and a messaging component operative to receive a media composition package associated with the first user account, the media composition package comprising the media composition.

Abstract: A system and method for facilitating a user defined virtual space is disclosed. One or more virtual space locations and/or activities may be correlated with user specified geolocations. In some implementations, the user specified geolocations may be verified against one or more spatial requirements prior to recording the user selected space-geolocation correlations. A user request to initiate an action or activity in the virtual space may be received. Prior to executing the requested action or activity in the virtual space, the user current geolocation may be verified against that specified in a space-geolocation correlation corresponding to a virtual space location or activity indicated in the user request.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus related to identifying a video for completing a task and determining a plurality of video segments of the identified video based on one or more attributes of the task. A task and a plurality of how-to videos related to the task may be identified. A how-to video may be selected and a plurality of video segments of the selected how-to video may be determined. One or more video segments may be associated with one or more task attributes that relate to performing the task. The selected video may be provided to a user and segmented, indexed, and/or annotated based on the associated video segments. In some implementations a given object utilized in performing the task may be identified and one or more video segments corresponding to the given object may be identified and/or provided to the user.

Abstract: A system for automatically increasing a capacity of a virtual space in a virtual world may include a processor and a module operating on the processor for detecting an attempt by an avatar to enter a virtual space in a virtual world. The system may also include another module for determining if an allowable number of avatars is currently in the virtual space. The allowable number of avatars may be determined by at least a capacity of a server that is hosting the virtual space. Another module may be provided for increasing a capacity of the virtual space when the allowable number of avatars is currently in the virtual space. Increasing the capacity of the virtual space may include spawning a replicate new virtual space on a different server in response to the capacity of the server that is hosting the virtual space reaching the allowable number of avatars.

Abstract: Approaches are provided for managing content displayed on a touch screen enabled device. An approach includes collecting data regarding contents of an electronic document that is opened on a device. The approach further includes separating the contents into individual layers and determining a position of each of the contents within the electronic document. The approach further includes detecting a manipulation of a first piece of content of the contents on the device, and determining the manipulation of the first piece of content has created an obstruction of readability or viewability of at least a portion of a second piece of content of the contents. The approach further includes adjusting the second piece of content such that the readability or viewability of the portion of the second piece of content is not obstructed by the first piece of content.

Abstract: Provided herein are systems, methods and computer readable media for providing an interface configured to provide a consumer with a number of promotions. In providing such functionality, the system can be configured to, for example, monitor and detect a consumer's selection of a preferred promotion. Upon determining the selection of a preferred promotion, a interactive feedback overlay may be configured to provide an indication acknowledging the consumer's selection of the preferred promotion. In some embodiments, the system may be configured to receive an indication corresponding to a user's desire to remove a particular promotion from a promotional interface.

Abstract: According to some implementations of the present disclosure, a method is provided. The method includes presenting a state of a first application and obtaining state indication data corresponding to the state of the first application. The method further includes transmitting the state indication data to a card system and receiving an availability indicator indicating whether the card system can provide a card corresponding to the state of the first application. Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for managing collaboration on a virtual work of art between multiple electronic devices are provided. A first graphical display system of a first device may generate an input command in response to receiving user information through a user interface of the first device, and may then share this input command with a second graphical display system of a second device. The first graphical display system may process the shared input command to generate pixel array data in a canvas of the first device while the second graphical display system may process the shared input command to generate pixel array data in a canvas of the second device. By sharing input commands rather than pixel array data, system latency may be reduced. Despite operating on the same artwork, the user interfaces and graphical processing capabilities of each device may vary, thereby providing the user greater expressiveness.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide an interactive viewer for an input device interface. Specifically, some embodiments provide a Keyboard Enhanced Interface (KEI) system that includes a KEI viewer. The KEI viewer includes multiple graphical keys that correspond to keys of a key based input device. The KEI viewer also includes multiple symbols that identify different output actions and logic for presenting a set of symbols over a set of graphical keys to identify a set of keys of the key based input device that are usable to directly invoke a set of output actions based on an active operational mode of the KEI system. A symbol identifies a particular output action that is directly invocable with a press of a key of the key based input device that corresponds to a graphical key over which said symbol is presented.
