Abstract: A method and apparatus simultaneously displays the main text and/or more attached filed of a message received in a mobile terminal. This simultaneous display allows a user to confirm the main text and attached files in the message. The main text and attached files may be shown in respective areas of the display.

Abstract: Creating an electronic data interchange (EDI) transaction from a description of the EDI schema. The description defines the EDI schema in a non-EDI structure. The description of the EDI schema is received. A plurality of data units included in the received description of the EDI schema is identified. The plurality of data units describes the content of the EDI schema. The identified plurality of data units is analyzed to determine the content of the EDI schema. The document definition is generated for the EDI schema as a function of the analyzed plurality of data units. The document definition is used to create an EDI transaction according to the EDI schema.

Abstract: A method and system to manage rendering of multimedia content are provided. A theme specifies a collection of layouts defining multimedia content placement. The multimedia content is processed to extract one or more characteristics. The layouts are selected and populated with multimedia content based on the one or more characteristics associated with the multimedia content. The multimedia content is rendered by transitioning through the selected layouts.

Abstract: The present application relates to an image processing apparatus and a method for matching and combining two documents with at least some overlap area. Layout features are extracted from the two documents and used to determine common layout areas of the first and second documents, where the common layout area has the same layout in the first and the second documents. Text data in the common layout areas of the first and second documents are also detected and used to determine common text data of the first and second documents, where the common text data is the same in the first and the second documents. Feature points are extracted from the common layout areas of the first and second documents based on the common text data and the first and second documents may be combined based on the feature points.

When an original document is inputted, a document input section stores the document in a document store section. After that, a document correction section corrects a character string of the document stored in the document store section in response to operation input and registers a correction history including a number of characters deleted by a character string deletion process and a correction history including a number of characters before replacement by a replacement process in a correction history table.

Abstract: A system and method for creating graphical presentations is disclosed. A pre-existing graphical presentation is scanned. Data points are extracted from the pre-existing graphical presentation. Corresponding data points are extracted from tabulated data. These corresponding data points are then inserted into the pre-existing graphical presentation to create a new graphical presentation. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for exporting a document in multiple formats. The disclosed systems and methods may include creating a metafile including content associated with the document and injecting comments into the metafile. The comments may comprise semantic information corresponding to the document. Also, the metafile may be parsed to create at least one call. The at least one call may be configured to enable an export engine to render the document. Furthermore, the at least one call may be sent to the export engine configured to render the document in an output format associated with the export engine. In addition, the export engine maybe selected from a plurality of export engines based upon user input indicating the output format associated with the selected export engine.

Abstract: Fields for presentable files can be determined by an application (i) based on a field type and at least one parameter of the fields and (ii) responsive to raw data and a separate transformation engine, even when the application is unaware of the mechanics of the separate transformation engine. In a described implementation for a given field, the field type indicates that the given field is to be evaluated based on raw data that is referenced by the at least one parameter of the given field. The transformation engine is applied to the referenced raw data to produce a result for the given field that is suitable for presentation. In an example implementation, the transformation engine includes multiples sets of presentation rules that may be selectively established for application to the fields. In an example embodiment, respective presentation rule subsets target respective types of raw data.

Abstract: For applications of web-based analytics and business intelligence reporting, methods and systems are provided for exporting a data table as a spreadsheet pivot table by automatic creation of formatted spreadsheet pivot tables with application specific initial views. The views are specified by templates allowing a user to view multiple pivot tables in a single spreadsheet book. Pivot tables are created by a remote server that performs the exporting of the data table so that a user can save the pre created pivot table in his/her local machine. In one embodiment of the invention, the data table on which a pivot table is subject to have a limited number of rows of a spreadsheet data sheet. In another embodiment, the data table on which a pivot table is subject to can exceed the limit of the number of rows of a spreadsheet data sheet.

When a page of the target document that is most similar to the key page is found, the row of the target document is shifted in a horizontal direction so that the page of the target document that is most similar to the key page is positioned next to the key page.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, implement techniques for managing links in a collection of documents. A plurality of links are identified in a collection of one or more documents. A visual representation of the identified links is displayed to a user. Each link has an associated source and destination. The source represents a location in the collection of documents from which the link points. The destination represents a location to which the link points. The visual representation includes information describing the sources and destinations for each of the identified links. Two or more of the links are simultaneously selectable for modification in response to user input in the visual representation.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems and computer program products for generating a change approval plan for a computing system. The computing system has at least one component and at least two user groups, and each user group has an approver. A request to change at least one said component is received. It is determined which components are affected by the change request. An initial set of approvals to be obtained from at least one of said approvers is determined based on dependencies of the affected components with other components, and based on the approvers required for each affected and dependent component. The initial set of approvals is rearranged into sub-groups such that components falling within each sub-group are dependent only upon components within a respective same group.

Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for rendering multiple segment hypertext script. An identification module identifies a plurality of segments in a hypertext script. Each segment is delimited by at least one tag and includes an instruction for rendering a segment display region that is a portion of a display image described by the hypertext script. A calculation module calculates display coordinates for each segment display region. The display coordinates specify the spatial location and dimensions of the segment display region. A format module formats each segment as an independently displayable formatted segment hypertext script configured to be displayed within the corresponding segment display region. A rendition module renders each formatted segment hypertext script within the corresponding segment display region as a Java object using Java functionality.
