Abstract: Coaxial connector assembly includes a connector module having a connector body and a plurality of coaxial contacts. The coaxial connector assembly also includes a mounting frame having a mating side and a mounting side that face in opposite directions. The mounting side faces in a mounting direction along the mating axis and is configured to interface with a support wall. The mounting frame defines a passage that extends through the mating and mounting sides. The passage includes a connector-receiving recess that opens to the mounting side and is defined by blocking surfaces. The blocking surfaces include a first blocking surface that faces in a lateral direction that is perpendicular to the mating axis and a second blocking surface that faces in the mounting direction. The first and second blocking surfaces are sized and shaped relative to the connector module to permit the connector module to float.

Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes a terminal module and a plurality of shielding plates. The terminal module includes a base portion, a tongue portion outward extended from one of two sides of the base portion, and a plurality of receptacle terminals. The receptacle terminals are held on the base portion. One of the shielding plates is between one of the first ground terminals and one of the second ground terminals, and another one of the shielding plates is between another one of the first ground terminals and another one of the second ground terminals. Accordingly, when the tongue portion is worn by repeated plug-and-pull operations, the signal terminals of the receptacle terminals are not in contact with the shielding plate to prevent the short circuit problem.

  • Patent number: 9722330
Abstract: A coaxial cable connector includes an inner barrel having a longitudinal axis, a front end, a rear end, and a compression band between the front and rear ends. A compression collar is mounted to the inner barrel for axial movement over the inner barrel from a retracted position to an advanced position. An inner post of the connector has opposed front and rear ends, and the front end of the inner barrel is carried at and on the rear end of the inner post. In response to axial movement of the compression collar over the inner barrel, the compression band compresses inward. • Patent number: 9705266
Abstract: A cable connector includes a metal housing, conductive terminals, and contact members. The metal housing includes a first end and a second end opposite to the first end. An accommodation space is formed for communicating with the first end and the second end. The conductive terminals are configured to clamp cables, and each conductive terminal includes a clamp portion, a containing portion, and an engaging portion. The clamp portion and the engaging portion are disposed at two ends of the containing portion, respectively. At least one slot is formed on the engaging portion. • Patent number: 9705255
Abstract: An improved broadside coupled, open pin field connector. The connector incorporates lossy material to selectively dampen resonance within pairs of conductive members connected to ground when the connector is mounted to a printed circuit board. The material may also decrease crosstalk and mode conversion. The lossy material is selectively positioned to substantially dampen resonances along pairs that may be connected to ground without unacceptably attenuating signals carried by other pairs. The lossy material may be selectively positioned near mating contact portions of the conductive members. Multiple techniques are described for selectively positioning the lossy material, including molding, inserting lossy members into a housing or coating surfaces of the connector housing. By using material of relatively low loss, loss when the conductive members are used to carry signals is relatively low, but an appreciable attenuation of resonances is provided on pairs connected to ground.
