  • Patent number: 11190983
Abstract: Techniques for network scheduling that may provide consistent latency in content delivery are described. For example, the techniques may include receiving, by a scheduler of a carrier network, a consistent latency request associated with an application operating on a user equipment (UE), the consistent latency request including a specified latency value. Based at least in part on the specified latency value, the scheduler of the carrier network may schedule transmission of one or more packets associated with the application operating on the UE to cause the one or more packets to arrive at the UE with an inter-packet delay substantially equal to the specified latency value.

  • Patent number: 11184934
Abstract: Various examples and schemes pertaining to an AT-command for an always-on PDU session in mobile communications are described. A processor of an apparatus implemented as a user equipment (UE) establishes a protocol data unit (PDU) session between a modem of the apparatus and a network node of a wireless network in response to a trigger by an application executed on the processor. The processor forwards a query from the application to the modem for an indication provided by the network node on whether the established PDU session is an always-on PDU session. The processor then receives the indication provided by the network node from the modem.

  • Patent number: 11172002
Abstract: Systems and methods for preventing a robocall from leaving a voicemail are described. When an incoming call without a history information header (HIH) destined for a subscriber is detected, the incoming call is prevented from leaving a voicemail if the subscriber does not answer the incoming call. If the incoming call has the HIH, additional determination process based on a visited network address of the subscriber is performed to determine whether the incoming call is to be prevented from leaving a voicemail.

  • Patent number: 11159971
Abstract: In some embodiments, a method sets a threshold over a frequency spectrum and receives a set of measurements that measures interference between a set of network devices over the frequency spectrum. A set of metric values based on the set of measurements is compared to the threshold at a plurality of points over the frequency spectrum. The method then selects whether the set of network devices are in a group that interfere with communications of each other based on the comparing.
