Abstract: A software development environment may have a object interaction construction interface for defining sentences that include two or more sentence atoms in an ordered arrangement. The sentence atoms may be one of: a source object, an event, a target object, and an action. The object interaction construction interface may receive user input selecting the sentence atoms in a particular sequence. The object interaction construction interface may configure a menu list of available second sentence atoms according to the type of sentence atom selected as the first sentence atom. Throughout the sequence, the object interaction construction interface will self-configure the next menu list according to the type of atom selected in the previous selection. When the sentence is complete, the software development environment may generate program instructions and/or data structures to implement object interactions defined by the sentence, which may be used to build an application.

Abstract: A method is provided for managing fonts in a radio communication terminal, which can receive fonts in order to render contents on a screen. One such method involves the use of the following elements in the terminal, namely: a font database that lists all of the fonts or font portions stored by the terminal and matches at least one management parameter with each of the fonts; and a set of font management commands, which is transmitted in a multimedia data flow.

Abstract: In a large-scale plant such as a power plant, a graphical user interface device displays a target data display screen without increasing a load of searching a screen or a load of grasping a screen transition link. An operation model-creating device reads operation manual data for operation estimation and operation history data from an operation manual managing device and an operation history managing device to create a number of pieces of manual procedure template data for each accident type. An operation predicting device selects the operation procedure template data having same conditions of immediately preceding operation history data obtained from the plant monitoring and control device to predict the next operation estimated to be performed by an operator from the selected operation procedure template data. The plant monitoring and control device displays a system recommended operation button on a monitoring screen thereof based on data of the predicted results.

Abstract: A method and medium are provided for presenting virtualized visible content within a viewport in a user interface. An anchor is received that represents a point on a line of virtualized visible content and a target value is received that represents a location in a viewport of a user interface. The anchor and target values can be received from user input devices or by analyzing the position of a scroll thumb relative to a scroll trough in the user interface. A first line of virtualized visible content that corresponds to the anchor value is realized by loading the line into memory from another source. The line is then positioned in the viewport based on the target value. Additional lines surrounding the first line are realized until the viewport is full. Lines that are not visible in the viewport can be unrealized, thus conserving computing resources.

The method also includes controlling capturing of the media content by a capture machine in response to the received request. The chat session comprises one or more entries that include a chat input from the one or more persons and a timecode of the chat input. The method includes receiving a request to stop recording of the media content of the event. The method also includes combining at least a subset of the one or more entries of the chat session with the media content using the time code of the one or more entries.

Abstract: Various embodiments related to the adjustment of a displayed range of a portion of a content selection are disclosed. In one embodiment, a computing device with an interactive display is configured to display a portion of a content selection and a control associated with the content selection. The control comprises a track and an indicator that indicates a location and a range of the portion of the content selection within the content selection as a whole. A first type of input associated with the control alters the range of the portion of the content selection displayed relative to the content selection as a whole and adjusts an appearance of the indicator, while a second type of touch input associated with the control alters a portion of the content selection displayed and moves the indicator on the track.

Abstract: An enterprise architecture storage and organization system is provided which includes user-editable webpages to display enterprise architecture content. The webpages are organized in a framework, such as the Zachman Framework. The framework may comprise a plurality of units grouped into a plurality of levels and a plurality of categories. Each unit may have a user-editable webpage associated with it. The level of detail included within each user-editable webpage is variant depending upon the location of its associated unit in the framework. Units at the top of the framework contain broad or general information and the level of detail downwardly increases. Users may selectably edit the content of the user-editable webpages using an editor. Users may edit the text and edit and attach graphics. In some embodiments, wiki-type functionality may be utilized. The content of the various user-editable webpages may be standardized based on level and category.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention improve the ability for users of an immersive virtual environment to manage and change their avatars or avatar profiles, including their behavior, during their virtual experience. In one embodiment, a user associates each avatar or avatar profile they control or own with a task from a predetermined set of tasks or purposes. A virtual world identity manager (VWIM) may collect and evaluate data about the virtual experience of the user, including virtual environment, virtual behavior, and virtual interaction with other users. Using this information, the VWIM may assist the user with identity management, including notifying the user of an identity or behavioral mismatch, and dynamically prompting the user to change identity or behavior, and recommending appropriate identities or behaviors for the user.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method (600) of scrolling a list (510) including video items (504-508) on a display device (501). The list is scrolled to modify a displayed subset of the items. The scrolling of the list is terminated and at least one of the displayed video items (507) is played after the termination, and the playback of the at least one displayed video item is then adapted after a predetermined period of time. The terminating of the scrolling may be in response to a user input. The displayed video items generally comprise one selected focus item the playback of which is adapted differently from the remaining displayed video items. The adapting is preferably to stop the playback of the video items.
