Abstract: The present invention relates to a buckle assembly for use in a restraint system for protecting a vehicle passenger during a crash event. The buckle assembly includes a connector, an airbag buckle and a means for ensuring that the connector may only be inserted into an airbag buckle and that the connector may only be inserted into an airbag buckle in a single orientation. The connector includes a mechanical stop with an offset edge. This offset edge must engage within a clearing slot located within the airbag buckle in order for the connector to latch into the airbag buckle. Latching of the connecting element with other non-airbag buckles or with the air bag buckle when the connector is not in the proper orientation is thus prevented.

Abstract: A fastening device including a shaft portion having first and second sections, and at least two slide-on heads each having an opening defined therethrough and being adapted to engage the first and second sections of the shaft portion. The first and second sections each include a plurality of axially aligned, outwardly oriented locking members. The locking members of the second section are oriented oppositely of the locking members of the first section.

Abstract: A slide structure for zipper comprises a slide body and a tab. The slide body has a top plate and a bottom plate, and the top plate and the bottom plate are connected by a connection part. Two sliding grooves are formed between the top plate and the bottom plate and on both sides of the connection part. The top plate of the slide body has two pivotal stages arranged along the lengthwise direction. The pivotal stage each has a pivotal groove at the center part thereof and the pivotal stage has a clamping cover. The pivotal end of the tab is engaged into the pivotal stage and clamped by the clamping cover.

Abstract: A pillow securing device for releasably holding a pillow in position on an elevated surface comprising a plurality of straps with one end attached to a connector ring and a clasp secured to the other end of each of the straps so that in use at least one of the straps is secured by means of the clasp to the pillow and at least one of the straps is secured by means of the clasp to the elevated surface. The straps may have varying lengths and adjustment means.

Abstract: A fastener includes a male fastening member having a springy hook plate and a retaining block and a stop block, and a female fastening member having a hook hole and a retaining hole and a recessed bearing portion. The retaining block and the stop block are forced into engagement with the retaining hole and the recessed bearing portion when hooking the springy hook in the hook hole. Turning the male fastening member outwards from the female fastening member to disengage the retaining block from the retaining hole enables the male fastening member to be separated from the female fastening member.

Abstract: The metallo-plastic clip comprises a clip and a plastic shank of which is part the corresponding accessory to be placed in an opening provided on the vehicle body, with an interposed vechicle roof. The clip provided with flexible flaps with a bend after which there is a horizontal segment of maximum size with a notch for attaching the clip to the opening of the vechicle body, while in a central area the flexible flaps are provided with a cut without loss of material forming center segments projected towards the center and with rounded corners which allow passage between them, with their corresponding lateral displacement and thereby also of the flaps, of any tool in order to free the clip from the shank.

Abstract: A magnetic closure particularly for items of clothing and the like, comprising a magnetic body which is accommodated in a seat which is closed hermetically and is formed by two plate-like elements which are mutually coupled at least in a region which peripherally surrounds the magnetic body. The coupled plate-like elements (10,11) can be applied to each one of a couple of flaps to be joined.

Also provided is a second fastener strip having on at least one side a second fastening surface that is complementary to the first fastening surface. Abstract: A lighter clip for use with a cigarette pack is inexpensively manufactured from a material such as injection-molded plastic. A generally three-sided clip is sized and shaped to fit across the width and depth of the pack, and contains an arcuate portion, suitable for holding a lighter, on one end. The clip is manufactured from a resilient material, and shaped in a manner that causes it to be lightly biased against the pack, thereby holding the clip in position. The two longer clip arms are sized to have a large enough surface area to be suitable for promotional use, and the clip arms and ends are shaped to securely grip the cigarette pack.

Abstract: A synthetic resin opening and closing press fastener comprises a front side flat plate portion and a rear side flat plate portion which are attached to the end edges of a flat plate shaped attached body. One end of these portions are connected by means of a connecting portion that is a positioning portion of the end edge of the attached body, and has a number of male engaging elements of a surface fastener on the rear face of the rear side flat plate portion. In order to attach this opening and closing press fastener to the attached body, the fastener attaching end edge of the attached body is inserted from an open end of the front and rear side flat plate portions of the press fastener. When the above end edge abuts against the connecting portion, both of the flat plate portions are connected to each other via the attached body by means of synthetic resin pin members having at least engaging heads at one end.

Abstract: An adhesive mounted device clip. In one embodiment a carabine styled clip is attached to an adhesive backed mounting foot by means of a strain relieving cord loop. The resulting assembly can permanently mount to any handheld electronic device, such as a cellular telephone (base object) by means of the adhesive backed mounting foot. The carabine clip can be used to attach the assembly to other secondary objects. Thus rendering the device attached to the secondary object. The strain-relieved connection allows for a range of free motion between the device and secondary object.

The safety clamp device has a central reinforced rib, a flap bar, a slot, a plurality of clamp teeth, and a flexible plate. The flexible plate has a curved portion and a guide recess. The flap bar is inserted in the slot of the safety clamp device.

Abstract: According to the fastener chain, method and apparatus for forming ends thereof, coil-shaped fastener elements as linear fastener elements are attached and sewed to side edge portions of a pair of fastener tapes with sewing yarns as fixing yarns while a core thread is inserted through the fastener elements. The coil-shaped fastener elements are cut off at leg portions, each of which is in contact with the fastener tape, at ends of the fastener elements, so that cut end portions are formed. These cut end portions are pushed inward of the side edge portions, and then, the leg portions and inverted portions thereof are fused to the fastener tapes by heating. As a result, a form of each end of the fastener elements is stabilized, so that the resultant slide fastener is good in safety.

Abstract: The present invention intends to provide a waterproof slide fastener in which a synthetic resin film is fused to a fastener tape in order to prevent a perforation phenomenon that the synthetic resin film does not exist locally. A laminated synthetic resin film composed of low melting point resin layer having melting point of, for example, 100° C.-140° C. and high melting point resin layer having melting point of, for example, 150° C.-230° C. is fused to a surface or both surfaces of a pair of the fastener tapes with the low melting point resin layer being in contact with and opposing the fastener tape by heating with pressure. Fastener elements are mounted onto a side edge of the fastener tape and the laminated synthetic resin film is formed so as to protrude outward from the side edge of the fastener tape and a center point of coupling of the fastener elements.

Abstract: A elongate cylindrical body member has a longitudinal interior passageway formed therethrough for receiving folded, bundled cords such as electrical power cords and other wiring. The interior diameter of the passageway decreases gradually and smoothly radially inwardly from the opposite outer ends of the passageway toward its center. The folded cord is retained in the interior passageway through the body. The organizer may be used with cords that are in use with appliances and the like to keep the cords organized and out of the way, and may be used to efficiently store cords that are not being used.

Abstract: A buckle structure has a male and female buckle piece. The male buckle piece has a base mount having two symmetric retaining legs extending therefrom with a guiding post disposed therebetween. Each retaining leg has an enlarged head portion having a leading angle and a retaining corner. Each retaining leg has an abutment block. In the female buckle piece is defined a hollow engagement cavity for receiving retaining legs with a guiding tunnel disposed at the center for receiving the guiding post. The female buckle piece has a side dodging opening respectively for exposing the abutment block. A stop post located in the way of each retaining leg engages with the retaining corner in buckling up; actuation of the abutment block permits the retaining corner to escape from restraint, making buckle pieces to separate easily.
