    Abstract: A double mortising, tenoning and dovetailing wood working machine including a base member, a sliding member and locking members. The base member is mounted on a table. The sliding member and locking members serve to precisely locate the base member relative to a piece of wood stock. The base member can be located over a piece of wood stock, locked into place and have a tenon or tail cut on the stock. The base member can then be moved horizontally over the stock, locked into position and have a second tenon or tail cut on the stock. The stock is then removed and replaced with another piece of wood stock to receive the mortise or socket joints. Through the use of the locking members and the slide member the base member can be located over the stock in the exact location needed to cut the mortise or socket joints to allow for a precise double mortise-tenon or dovetail joint.

    Abstract: A wood working machine for wood like pulp wood, saw timber or similar elongated wood parts comprises a trough designed like a tunnel. The trough has a feeding in end and a feeding out end for the wood. Rotors, each provided with helical threads on its jacket surface, are arranged in the trough for the purpose of at least partially debarking the wood. The machine performs a method where the wood during the working is taken by the rotors (6) from a portion of the trough (2) on a first level to a side-displaced portion of the trough on a second, higher level. The wood falls down to the lower level whereby tumbling of the wood is brought about at the same time as a further working of the wood is conducted. The wood during the working is taken by the rotors from the feeding in end (3) of the trough (2) to its feeding out end (4).

    Abstract: A motorized power tool and several support structures are defined. A basic embodiment includes a unibody base having base upper and base lower ends and sidewalls collectively forming an internal cavity. Atop the base upper end is disposed a table having a work support surface. A motor driven implement such as a saw blade or a sanding drum is supported so that it is adjustable and extends above the table. Wheels are disposed at the base lower end of one end of the base and an extendable handle at the other. The handle can be used to tilt the base so that all the weight is centered above the wheels and then to move the power tool. A fence is also slidably mounted on the table to adjustably position a workpiece relative to the saw blade.

The left and right fences slide on the top work surface in a front to rear direction and a side to side direction. A feather flap extends from the workpiece fence and holds the workpiece down against the table top during cutting.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for forming superfine particles of rubber powder suitable for recycling, as by incorporation into new rubber production, is shown. Coarsely ground rubber particles, formed in a conventional manner, are mixed in a soaking vessel with a reagent which causes the rubber particles to swell. The swollen, reagent-impregnated rubber is less elastic and more easily ground. The reagent-impregnated particles are then transported to a grinder which reduces the size of the particles to 200 &mgr;m or less. The ground particles are then heated to drive off the reagent which is recovered in a reagent recovery system. The dried particles are then sorted according to size. The process is conveniently automated and provides the ability to economically recycle rubber.

During the agitating the container temperature is a temperature T in the range Ts(coat)<T<TL(core) wherein Ts(coat) is the solidus temperature of the coating layer and TL(core) is the liquidus temperature of the core.     Abstract: The present invention concerns a method that is timesaving, more economical and facilitates the handling and processing of short solid wood planks. Tongue-and-groove joints are machined on the short sides of the short green planks enabling their releasable tight assembly in rows for the seasoning process in the kiln dryer. This temporary attachment between adjacent planks prevents exposition of the short sides to the drying air thus avoiding the usual end grain checking on the latter during kiln drying, and eliminates the need of performing any subsequent machining and trimming steps after the expensive kiln drying step. This process then also improves the saving opportunities by increasing the volume of wood drying capacity and by increasing the production of reusable green wood shavings as opposed to unusable wood shavings following the kiln drying operation.
