Abstract: A tubular elasticated net used for cooking layered or rolled meat products such as cooked ham has independent elastic (12) and inextensible (13) weft threads. The inextensible threads (13) limit the diametral expansion of the tube to the desired shape of the finished product, while the elastic thread (12) squeezes the meat during cooking.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a multilayer flexible sheet and a multilayer flexible sheet. The method for manufacturing a multilayer sheet comprises steps of metalizing atleast one of the surfaces of a core polymer layer; priming the metalized surface of the core polymer layer with a primer; extrusion laminating the primed surface of the core polymer layer with polyolefin and/or co-polymer of polyolefin; and co-extruding first heat sealable layer over the extrusion laminated layer. The multilayer polymer sheet of the present invention atleast comprises a core layer having one of the polymer sides plasma treated, a metal layer deposited on the plasma treated side of the core layer, a primer layer applied on the metalized surface of the core layer, an extrusion polymer lamination layer of poiyolefin and/or copolymer of polyolefin and a heat sealable layer on the extrusion polymer lamination layer.

A pipe section includes a hollow body, the hollow body having an inner surface and an outer surface, the inner surface defining an interior. The pipe section further includes a barrier layer surrounding the hollow body, the barrier layer having an inner surface and an outer surface. The barrier layer is formed from a polyarylene sulfide composition. The polyarylene sulfide composition includes a polyarylene sulfide and a crosslinked impact modifier. Such pipe sections exhibit high strength characteristics and flexibility as well as resistance to degradation, even in extreme temperature environments, while maintaining desirable processing characteristics.
