  • Patent number: 11528775
Abstract: A system and method for dynamic mesh network discovery is disclosed. In embodiments, the system assigns each network asset (e.g., unmanned or manned aircraft or like mobile nodes) a unique asset number. Each asset has a controller coupled to a datalink including antenna elements and a memory for storing an asset table. Each asset periodically broadcasts an asset status message including the asset number. When a status message is received, the receiving asset compares the received asset number to its own asset number. If the received asset number is higher (e.g., of lower priority) than its own asset number, the receiving asset establishes a bidirectional mesh network connection to the broadcasting asset. Assets on the receiving end of a network connection interrogate the establishing asset for its asset number, such that assets on both sides of the connection know the identity of the other and update their asset tables accordingly.

  • Patent number: 11507582
Abstract: Event-driven Internet of Things (IoT) abstraction using rules is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a network computing device that provides an IoT management (IoTM) service is communicatively coupled to an IoT device. The IoTM service receives multiple rules, each of which comprises an event identifier that identifies an event that the IoT device is capable of emitting, and an action identifier that identifies an action to be performed by the IoTM service (e.g., a command to be issued to the IoT device or an operation to be performed by the IoTM service). Upon receiving a first event emitted by the IoT device, the IoTM service identifies a first rule of the plurality of rules based on a first event identifier of the first rule that matches the first event. The IoTM service then executes a first action, wherein a first action identifier of the first rule identifies the first action.

  • Patent number: 11502973
Abstract: Voice data transmission with adaptive redundancy creates a voice data packet by packetizing the voice data payload and a number of redundant payloads selected from a set of previous voice data payloads. The voice data from the voice data payload is analysed to determine whether it is a critical or non-critical payload by classifying the received voice data as voiced or unvoiced. If at least a portion of the voice data is classified as unvoiced, the voice data payload is determined to be a critical payload. If it is a critical payload, then the voice data payload is added to the set of previous voice data payloads for inclusion as a redundant payload in subsequent voice data packets. The voice data packet is then forwarded for transmission over the network.

  • Patent number: 11483087
Abstract: Systems and methods for clock synchronization are disclosed in which a primary node generates special physical layer clock sync symbols from the output of a reference clock and inserts the clock sync symbols within a symbol stream to one or more secondary nodes. Upon receiving a symbol stream, a secondary node can extract the clock sync symbols from the stream to synchronize its local clock with the reference clock of the primary node. In particular, the clock sync symbols can be inserted into the symbol stream at any arbitrary symbol location, e.g., even between consecutive symbols of a symbol encoded data frame. The clock sync symbols can also replace some control symbols in the symbol stream, such as idle or comma symbols. Accordingly, the clock sync symbols can be inserted into a symbol stream at fixed intervals, irregular intervals, or at any arbitrary time for high resolution clock synchronization.

  • Patent number: 11469714
Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to an envelope tracking system that uses a single-bit digital signal to encode an analog envelope tracking control signal, or envelope tracking signal for brevity. In certain embodiments, the envelope tracking system can estimate or measure the amplitude of the baseband signal. The envelope tracking system can further estimate the amplitude of the envelope of the RF signal. The system can convert the amplitude of the envelope signal to a single-bit digital signal, typically at a higher, oversample rate. The single-bit digital signal can be transmitted in, for example, a low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) format, from a transceiver to an envelope tracker. An analog-to-digital converter (ADC or A/D) can convert the single-bit digital signal back to an analog envelope signal. Moreover, a driver can increase the power of the A/D output envelope signal to produce an envelope-tracking supply voltage for a power amplifier.
