  • Patent number: 11750498
Abstract: The present application relates to communications between a partner network and a wide area network (WAN) via the Internet. Although Internet service providers may act as autonomous systems, the WAN may control routing from the partner network by advertising unicast border gateway protocol (BGP) address prefixes for a plurality of front-end devices in the WAN. An agent in the partner network measures a plurality of paths to a service within the WAN. Each of the plurality of paths is associated with one of the plurality of front-end devices and a respective unicast BGP address prefix. The WAN selects a path within the WAN for the service. The WAN exports a routing rule to the agent. The agent forwards data packets for the service to the respective BGP address prefix via the Internet. The WAN receives data packets for the service of the partner network at the selected device.

  • Patent number: 11716120
Abstract: A method and apparatus for allocating and processing sequences in a communication system is disclosed. The method includes: dividing sequences in a sequence group into multiple sub-groups, each sub-group corresponding to its own mode of occupying time frequency resources; selecting sequences from a candidate sequence collection corresponding to each sub-group to form the sequences in the sub-group by: the sequences in a sub-group i in a sequence group k being composed of n sequences in the candidate sequence collection, the n sequences making a |ri/Ni?ck/Np1| or |(ri/Ni?ck/Np1) modu mk,i| function value the smallest, second smallest, till the nth smallest respectively; allocating the sequence group to cells, users or channels. It prevents the sequences highly correlated with the sequences of a specific length from appearing in other sequence groups, thus reducing interference, avoiding the trouble of storing the lists of massive sequence groups.

  • Patent number: 11711242
Abstract: A Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) edge node is disclosed. The SD-WAN edge node includes edge node SD-WAN ports coupled to untrusted underlay networks. The SD-WAN edge node transmits a first Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) update message advertising WAN (Wide Area Network) properties of the edge node SD-WAN ports to a local controller via an encrypted channel over the untrusted underlay network. The SD-WAN edge node receives a second BGP update message from the local controller, the second BGP update message advertising WAN properties of peer node SD-WAN ports of a peer node. The SD-WAN edge node establishes a security association with the peer node over the untrusted underlay networks based on the WAN properties of the edge node SD-WAN ports and the WAN properties of the peer node SD-WAN ports.

  • Patent number: 11711115
Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a transmitting sidelink user equipment (UE) determines at least one quasi-co-location (QCL) relationship between antenna ports of the transmitting sidelink UE. The QCL relationship corresponds to carrier frequency offset (CFO), average delay, delay spread, Doppler shift, and/or Doppler spread across the antenna ports of the transmitting sidelink UE. Each port maps to a different transmission and reception point (TRP). The method also indicates the QCL relationship(s) to a receiving sidelink UE. A method of wireless communication by a receiving sidelink UE receives a message from TRPs of a transmitting sidelink UE. The message indicates a QCL assumption for the TRPs. The method also individually measures reference signals received from each transmission port of the TRPs. The method may also determine whether signaling from the TRPs satisfies all conditions for the QCL assumption, and report to the transmitting sidelink UE a result of the determining.

  • Patent number: 11706815
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the prioritization of devices taking part in a multi-user random access wireless communication. Based on some known conditions, devices that comply with the conditions are given preferential treatment during the random access period. The preferential treatment may refer to the eligible devices being allowed to access more resource units during the random access, or it may also mean faster access to the medium during the random access. By taking advantage of the methods described in the present disclosure, it is possible to assign higher priority to selected frame types and/or device categories in a multi-user random access wireless communication system.
