Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to an augmented reality surgical system. The system includes an endoscope that captures an image of the region of interest of a patient and an ECG device that records an ECG of the patient. A controller receives the image and applies at least one image processing filter to the image. The image processing filter includes a decomposition filter that decomposes the image into frequency bands. A temporal filter is applied to the frequency bands to generate temporally filtered bands. An adder adds each band frequency band to a corresponding temporally filtered band to generate augmented bands. A reconstruction filter generates an augmented image by collapsing the augmented bands. The controller also receives the ECG and processes the augmented image with the ECG to generate an ECG filtered augmented image. A display displays the ECG filtered augmented image to a user.
Abstract: A self-localizing apparatus uses timestampable signals transmitted by transceivers that are a part of a distributed localization system to compute its position relative to the transceivers. Transceivers and self-localizing apparatuses are arranged for highly accurate timestamping using digital and analog reception and transmission electronics as well as one or more highly accurate clocks, compensation units, localization units, position calibration units, scheduling units, or synchronization units. Transceivers and self-localizing apparatuses are further arranged to allow full scalability in the number of self-localizing apparatuses and to allow robust self-localization with latencies and update rates useful for high performance applications such as autonomous mobile robot control.

Abstract: A system for delivering messages to a mobile device 3 on a mobile telecommunications network comprises a mobile network provider 2 which receives a message for delivery to the mobile device 3 from a sender 1 having a sender address. A server 4 processes the message to remove any malicious content from the message. The processed message is delivered to the mobile device 3.
Abstract: A signalling message including paging related information indicative of whether an user equipment (10, 19) is pageable or indicative of whether the UE (10, 19) will be paged is transmitted. The UE (10, 19) does not listen on a paging channel if the pageability information indicates that the UE (10, 19) is unpageable.
Abstract: The present invention faces the issue of improving isolation of network slices in network slicing deployments where a centralized User Data Management, which includes subscription information for all users in a network with a plurality of network slices, is shared by the plurality of network slices. To solve this issue, the present invention provides for a distributed slice data repository for handling slice selection data for users equipped with a user equipment, UE, in a network that includes a plurality of network slices. This distributed slice data repository has: a slice user data repository, SDR, per network slice basis and including subscription information for each UE to be served by the network slice, and a slice selection repository, SSR, which is external to any network slice, shared by the plurality of network slices, and only includes slice selection data for every UE in the network.

Abstract: A collation device includes: a storage that stores a search target image showing a search target; an acquisition unit that acquires a captured image generated by an imaging device; and a controller that determines whether the search target is included in the captured image. The controller searches out a collation area in the captured image, the collation area including a subject similar to at least a part of the search target, and selects, depending on the collation area, at least one of a whole of the search target image and a part of the search target image, and collates the selected at least one with the captured image so as to determine whether the search target is included in the captured image.
Abstract: There may be situations in which it is beneficial for a user equipment to switch between grant-free uplink wireless transmissions and grant-based uplink wireless transmissions. Systems and methods are disclosed that help facilitate grant-based and grant-free uplink wireless communications, and the switching between the two. For example, systems and methods for mitigating collision between a granted uplink wireless transmission and a grant-free uplink wireless transmission are disclosed herein.
Abstract: A positioning cycle adjustment method comprising: obtaining, by a mobile device, a group of environment record information in a current environment; determining, by the mobile device, a location change rate value of the mobile device based on obtained N groups of environment record information, where N is greater than or equal to 2; and then adjusting a positioning cycle of the mobile device based on the determined location change rate value.
Abstract: User identification information for identifying a user of a first terminal connecting to a communication network of a virtual communication operator via a communication network of a first communication operator is specified, and, based on the user identification information, charging for communication of the first terminal and charging for a service that the virtual communication operator is enabled to provide to the user identified by the user identification information are managed.
Abstract: A communication system for communication in a communication network having a first subnetwork and a second subnetwork includes a first identification entity assigned to the first subnetwork and configured to receive an identity of a communication terminal and identify the communication terminal on a basis of the identity for communication over the first subnetwork. The communication system additionally includes a second identification entity assigned to the second subnetwork and configured to receive the identity of the communication terminal and identify the communication terminal on the basis of the identity for communication over the second subnetwork. The communication system further includes a management entity configured to authenticate the communication terminal for communication over a particular subnetwork.
Abstract: Certain aspects of the disclosure are directed to customized communication lists for data communications systems using high-level programming. According to a specific example, a data communications server is configured to interface with a remotely-situated client entity using a first programming language. The data communications server includes a communication control engine that is configured to provide a private branch exchange (PBX) for the client entity. The communication control engine is configured and arranged to identify client-specific sets of control data derived from instructions written in a second programming language that is compatible with the first programming language, and to control communication routing by determining whether to route incoming data communications in response to a comparison of at least one feature of the incoming data communications telephone communications and the client-specific sets of control data.
Abstract: A traffic signal recognition device includes a traffic signal related database that stores traffic signal data and surrounding structure data of a surrounding structure existing around a traffic signal, an imaging possibility determination unit that determines whether or not the traffic signal can be imaged by the camera, a search area setting unit that sets a search area having a size corresponding to a position error range of the traffic signal in the captured image if it is determined that the traffic signal can be imaged, and a traffic signal recognition unit that recognizes a lighting state of the traffic signal in the search area.
Abstract: Method and apparatus use a value tag in conjunction with transmission and/or processing of system information in a wireless communication network, especially in conjunction with second type system information or non-essentially type system information.
