  • Patent number: 10574832
Abstract: Apparatus and methods concerning call routing are disclosed. As an example, one apparatus includes an interface circuit configured to route calls between a cellular network or PSTN and a plurality of communication devices on an IP network, each of the plurality of communication devices corresponding to a respective telephone extension. In response to receiving a first call notification from one of a plurality of mobile devices, a processing circuit of the apparatus caches the call notification for a period of time in a first database. A first call notification indicates a source number and a destination number. In response to a first incoming call via the cellular or PSTN network from the source number included in the cached call notification, the processing circuit redirects the call to the destination number indicated in the call notification via the cellular or PSTN network.

  • Patent number: 10511521
Abstract: A computer system splits data to be transmitted into a plurality of reliable connections which are multiplexed through a smaller number of unacknowledged connections, such as connections that do not require acknowledgment and which may be VPN tunnels. A receiver then demultiplexes data received to obtain data flows over the reliable connections and transmits separate acknowledgements for each reliable connection. The computer system demultiplexes the acknowledgments and provides them to the corresponding reliable connections, which then retransmit any unacknowledged data. Delivery controllers executing on the computer system may be coupled to corresponding controllers executing on the receiver, with traffic between the delivery controllers (payload and acknowledgments) being multiplexed over one or more unacknowledged connections. In some embodiments, acknowledgments may be transmitted over a connection that is not multiplexed over the unacknowledged connections.

  • Patent number: 10439833
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for generating and using multicast transaction messages in an exchange system are described. A unicast transaction message is received, e.g., by a gateway device which interacts with devices outside the exchange system. The gateway device generates a multicast transaction message from the unicast transaction message and sends transmits it to other devices in the exchange system. A multicast transaction message is received by the gateway device. The gateway generates a unicast transaction response message and sends it to the trader system which sent the transaction message to which the response corresponds. Traders are permitted to include information in a transaction message field which is not interpreted or used by the exchange to control message processing. The information in the uninterpreted field is echoed back to the trader system and allows the trader to correlate the transaction messages to one or more clients or to perform other operations.
