  • Patent number: 11580296
Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for populating application-specific information using overlay applications. For example, in order to relieve some of the difficulties users face in inputting information into mobile devices which may have smaller screen sizes and may not feature dedicated input mechanisms, the methods and systems described herein automatically populate application-specific information. The methods and systems do this using an application that presents an application overlay feature. That is, the application is accessible while a user is using another application (e.g., on the mobile device) and/or while a user is scrolling through other applications.

  • Patent number: 11575729
Abstract: Automatically determining, with reduced (or no) input from the users of a group, a set of activity instances that the group of users has interest in performing. A representation of the set of activity instances can be rendered for consideration by a group, and the set of activity instances can be determined even when only limited criteria are specified. Optionally, in response to affirmative user interface input(s) directed to a rendered representation of the set of activity instances, one or more of the activity instances of the set can be confirmed through limited input(s) of one or more users of the group. Further, the automatic determination of the set of activity instances is optionally performed using one or more trained machine learning models that are trained to optimize a likelihood that the users of the group will find the set satisfactory.

  • Patent number: 11568001
Abstract: A visualization system generates for display one or more radial maps that represent data values for a plurality of parameters measured for groups of entities. Each group of rows of the radial map represents a group of entities for whom the parameters are measured and compared against a baseline or control group, while each column represents a measured parameter. If the visualization system determines that an entity has a data value for a measured parameter that deviates from the control group value by more than a threshold amount, the system visually distinguishes the outlier value from the other geometric shapes in the radial map. Additionally, two or more radial maps may be simultaneously displayed on a visual interface based on correlations between data points for groups of entities.

  • Patent number: 11561809
Abstract: Systems and methods for remote display resource management can allow a remote display to be dynamically modified according to user eye movements. A user device can receive graphical data for a remote display and present the remote display on a local display. A remote display module (RD module) can detect dynamic content in the graphical data. The RD module can monitor eye movements of a user using an eye tracker device to determine when a user is not looking at the dynamic content. When a user looks away from the dynamic content for more than an allowed amount of time, the RD module can send instructions to a server to reduce the quality of the dynamic content in the remote display. The RD module can send instructions to restore the quality of the dynamic content after determining that the user is looking at the dynamic content.

  • Patent number: 11551150
Abstract: Implementations relate to training a model that can be used to process values for defined features, where the values are specific to a user account, to generate a predicted user measure that reflects both popularity and quality of the user account. The model is trained based on losses that are each generated as a function of both a corresponding generated popularity measure and a corresponding generated quality measure of a corresponding training instance. Accordingly, the model can be trained to generate, based on values for a given user account, a single measure that reflects both quality and popularity of the given user account. Implementations are additionally or alternatively directed to utilizing such predicted user measures to restrict provisioning of content items that are from user accounts having respective predicted user measures that fail to satisfy a threshold.

  • Patent number: 11531822
Abstract: A model training service of a provider network may receive content items as training data. For example, the content items may be documents with certain portions labeled as stale. The model training service may train one or more different types of models using those content items (e.g., natural language inference model, paraphrasing detection model, named entity recognition model). The model training service may then provide the model(s) to a content staleness check (CSC) service. The CSC service may receive, from a client, a request that indicates one or more content items to be checked for staleness. The CSC service may process the content items by the model(s) to generate one or more indications of staleness of the content item. The CSC service may generate a response based on the indications of staleness. For example, the CSC service may generate a document with certain portions highlighted as stale content.
