  • Patent number: 11301766
Abstract: A method of training a predictive model to predict a likely field value for one or more user selected fields within an application. The method comprises providing a user interface for user selection of the one or more user selected fields within the application; analyzing a pre-existing, user provided data set of objects; training, based on the analysis, the predictive model; determining, for each user selected field based on the analysis, a confidence function for the predictive model that identifies the percentage of cases predicted correctly at different applied confidence levels, the percentage of cases predicted incorrectly at different applied confidence levels, and the percentage of cases in which the prediction model could not provide a prediction at different applied confidence levels; and providing a user interface for user review of the confidence functions for user selection of confidence threshold levels to be used with the predictive model.

  • Patent number: 11288541
Abstract: This disclosure involves generating, from a user data set, a ranked list of recommended secondary variables in a user interface field similar to primary variable selected in another user interface field. A system receives a data set having variables and corresponding sets of values. The data visualization system determines a feature vector for each variable based on statistics of a corresponding values set. The system generates a variable similarity graph having nodes representing variables and links representing degrees of similarity between feature vectors of variables. The system receives a selection of a first variable via a first field of the user interface, detects a selection of a second field, and identifies a relationship between the first field and the second field. The system generates a contextual menu of recommended secondary variables for use with the selected first variable based on similarity value of the links in the variable similarity graph.

  • Patent number: 11262890
Abstract: An electronic device provides, to a display, data to present a user interface that includes a plurality of user interface objects, and a current focus on a first user interface object of the plurality of user interface objects. While the display is presenting the user interface, the electronic device receives from the user input device an input that corresponds to a gesture detected on the touch-sensitive surface of the user input device. The gesture includes a movement of a contact across the touch-sensitive surface followed by a lift-off of the contact from the touch-sensitive surface. The electronic device, in accordance with a determination that the gesture satisfies movement criteria, provides, to the display, data to move the current focus in the user interface from the first user interface object to a second user interface object of the plurality of user interface objects.

  • Patent number: 11231913
Abstract: A user interface generation method for model driven architecture (MDA) architected applications includes defining multiple job functions in a model for an instance of an MDA architected application, each referencing one or more user interface (UI) experiences for the application, each experience including a single menu and one or more screens, each screen including one or more UI components. Thereafter, each end user of the instance is associated with one or more job functions. Then, in response to receiving an event on an event bus servicing the instance, an event handler for UI events in the instance selects an experience corresponding to the defined job function for the end user specified by the event, retrieves a screen of the selected experience based upon the event and transmits for display to the specified end user a specification of a graphical UI representative of the retrieved screen including the single menu for the selected experience.
