Abstract: Process for the production of paper rolls, including a step of producing logs (L) of paper material by winding a predetermined amount of paper web (W) about a tubular core (C) oriented transversely with respect to a direction (PP) of entering of the paper web (W) in a rewinder (R) in which the winding is executed, and a step of transverse cutting of the logs (L) to obtain rolls (R) of predetermined length. The cores (C) are produced by a tube-forming machine (T) whose position is intercepted by the direction (PP) of the paper (W) entering the Rewinder®.

Abstract: One aspect of the disclosed subject matter is seen in a wire access line drum assembly that includes a tubular drum and an insert positionable therein to accommodate wire access lines of varying diameter. The tubular drum has a first and a second end and an inner and outer surface. The insert is positionable adjacent the first end of the tubular drum and has a curved channel formed therein extending between the inner and outer surfaces of the tubular drum. The insert has a ramp substantially coinciding with the outer surface of the drum at a first end portion and extending above the outer surface of the drum at a second end portion adjacent the curved channel. The height of the ramp at the second end portion is selected to be substantially similar to the diameter of the wire access line to be stored on the drum assembly.

Abstract: A yarn feeder may comprise a winding wheel, a driving member, at least a locating member, and a plurality of tension pieces. The winding wheel has a first end and a second end, and a plurality of locating holes are formed on the winding wheel adjacent to the first end. The driving member has a ring coupled with the second end of the winding wheel, and the ring comprises at least a driving rod extended along an outer surface of the winding wheel from the second end to the first end, and an end of the driving rod close to the first end which comprises a driving portion and a connecting portion thereon. The locating member comprises a shell, a pivot shaft, a first column, and a locating column. The tension pieces are respectively connected between the ring of the driving member and the first end of the winding wheel.
Abstract: A two piece winding core assembly is provided having a first core portion and a second core portion. The two core portions having the same construction and are positionable to combine together to form a completed cylindrical and hollow core. The two core portions having a series of locking pins and a corresponding series of receiving openings formed on opposing end faces. A series of axially elongated projections and a corresponding series of axially elongated channels are also formed on the opposing end faces of the core portions. An internal plurality of web members is formed in a structural crossing pattern on the inside surface of the core portion, with the web members providing structural rigidity to the core portions.
Abstract: A sheet product dispenser for dispensing sheet product from a supply of sheet product reduces accumulation of the sheet product in the chute. The dispenser comprises a housing including a chute having a sheet product dispensing opening, a sheet product feed roller assembly disposed in the housing and configured to feed sheet product from the supply of sheet product into the chute, and a pusher disposed in the housing and configured to engage the sheet product fed from the sheet product feed roller assembly at a location downstream from the sheet product feed roller assembly and push the sheet product fed from the sheet product feed roller assembly toward the dispensing opening to reduce accumulation of the sheet product in the chute. A related method of reducing accumulation of the sheet product in the chute also is provided.
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for automatically supplying carrier tape, and more specifically, to an apparatus for automatically supplying a carrier tape and a method for automatically supplying carrier tape wherein carrier tape is enabled to be continuously and automatically supplied without stopping a process even if a structure or supply conditions of the carrier tape is changed. The apparatus for automatically supplying the carrier tape comprises an injection module comprising a height adjusting unit for enabling the continuous and automatic supply of one carrier tape in the middle of being supplied and one or more carrier tapes on standby, and a parts sensor for sensing parts of a carrier tape; and a pickup module for separating a cover tape form the carrier tape transferred from the injection module.

The method of sequential four-layer or two-layer patterning of winding groups support formation of jumbo horizontally wound coils of continuous annealed copper tubing for use by end users of annealed copper tubing.
Abstract: The invention discloses an apparatus for regulating winding tension as function of bobbin (2) diameter in a slit film tape or yarn (1) winder system carrying at least one automated winder. It comprises a dancing arm (3) equipped with a tension setting means or device (3B) which regulates the yarn tension. The inventive feature of the invention is that tension setting means (3B) is capable of changing resistance ‘R’ of the dancing arm (3) as a function of the bobbin (2) diameter ‘D’ during the winding process. The invention also provides a method for regulating winding tension as function of bobbin (2) diameter. The invention helps overcome a number of problems related to uniformness and consistency of package the fabric making industry is currently facing. It solves technical problem of winding bobbin throughout using same tension adjusted for dancing arm, resulting higher tension during unwinding at low bobbin sizes.
Abstract: A spool endform assembly includes an endform with a central collar that are configured to rotate about a rotational axis. The spool endform assembly further includes a mount sub-assembly configured to be mounted in a fixed orientation on a mounting structure (such as movable arm). The spool endform assembly is further configured to permit misalignment of the fixed orientation of the mount sub-assembly relative to the rotational axis of the endform and central collar. In embodiments, controlled movement of the mounting structure can be used to connect the spool endform assembly to a rotatable mandrel of a wire winding spool and disconnect the spool endform assembly from the rotatable mandrel. By permitting misalignment of the fixed orientation of the mount sub-assembly relative to the rotational axis of the endform and central collar, the spool endform assembly makes it easier to connect the spool endform assembly to the rotatable mandrel and to disconnect the spool endform assembly from the rotatable mandrel.
Abstract: Method and apparatus for an assembly which is attachable to a skid-steer or similar front end loader or tractor which is used to install fence wire. The assembly contains a plurality of spindles upon which rolls of wire can be placed, which wire passes through a threader which organizes and separates the wire, then through a clamping device operated hydraulically using electric and hydraulic controllers, then over a roller and around an upright wire guide whereupon the wire is attached to a fence post in a conventional manner. The wire is clamped using a clamping member operated by a hydraulic cylinder to clamp and lock the wire so that the wire can be stretched by the engine powered skid-steer, front end loader or the like so that the wire can be tightly attached to each fence post in a series operation. The plurality of spindles is disposed on an upright central stanchion attached to a platform so that the wire can be easily placed on and removed from the spindle.

Abstract: The invention relates to an automatic turret type yarn winding device. The automatic bobbin changeover process involves winding of yarn on a bobbin, followed by rotation of the turret to bring an empty bobbin into the winding position. Pressure rollers are provided to ensure consistent and accurate winding. The accurate relative positioning of the bobbins and pressure rollers is important. Wear and tear and particulate dust may cause malfunctioning of winder systems which may affect accuracy of turret rotations and relative positioning of the bobbins and pressure rollers, especially when the turret rotation during bobbin changeover stage is done in a single rotation. The invention provides a device and a method to position spindle precisely in turret type automatic winder, especially to identify correct stationing position of turret spindle after reverse movement post doffing.
Abstract: An apparatus for unloading and installing palletized filter tubes which includes a rack having an attachment for a roller cage assembly. The cage includes at least one roller and is positioned horizontally and outward from the rack. The filter tube is positioned through the cage and over at least one roller and fastened at the free end to the ground or other filter tubing. The apparatus is attached to a skid steer, truck bed or other movable machinery and as the machinery moves forward the palletized filter tube is pulled through the cage assembly. Retention bars may be provided to retain the palletized filter tube in place as the vehicle moves. In one iteration, the retention bars are hydraulically operated and can be opened for loading of palletized filter tube.
