  • Patent number: 10329116
Abstract: A sensing apparatus for yarn feeder may comprise a yarn feeder and a tension controller. The tension controller has an elongated sensing block installed therein, and a horizontal extending board is connected to the sensing block. An operating rod is mounted on a middle upper surface of the extending board at one end and upwardly sticks out of the tension controller to pivotally connect to a tension pulley at the other end. A yarn wound on a winding wheel of the yarn feeder is configured to couple with the tension pulley. At least an impedance sensing piece is attached on a surface of the sensing block, and a deformable hole horizontally penetrates through the sensing block. When the sensing block is pressed or pulled, the tension controller can obtain the tension value of the yarn and further calculate the torsion value of the yarn feeder.

  • Patent number: 10315882
Abstract: A spool fixation device for use in a wire winding installation, where in this spool fixation device, spools having a magnetically attractable flange are held to a rotatable flange using magnet assemblies. The magnet assemblies can be switched between a ‘hold’ state and a ‘release’ state. In a preferred embodiment the magnet assemblies only consume energy when in the ‘release’ state i.e. when the spool fixation device is not rotating. Alternatively the magnet assemblies can be made to only consume energy when switching states. The magnet assemblies have permanent magnet arrays and are moveable inside a non-magnetic housing. Also a drive pin to transfer torque between rotatable flange and spool is no longer necessary. Therefore the spool fixation devices allows for a smooth changeover of spools.

  • Patent number: 10308459
Abstract: A medium wind-up apparatus includes a reel-out motor, which is a driving source that winds up a medium, a control portion that controls the reel-out motor on the basis of a torque limit value, which regulates an upper limit of an output torque of the reel-out motor, and a reel-out side detection portion that detects a rotation speed of the reel-out motor, in which the control portion changes the torque limit value on the basis of the detected rotation speed. In this case, it is preferable that the control portion increase the torque limit value in a case in which the detected rotation speed falls below a first threshold value, and that the control portion reduce the torque limit value in a case in which the detected rotation speed exceeds a second threshold value, which is larger than the first threshold value.

  • Patent number: 10259680
Abstract: A cable system A includes a cable 3 for connecting a base device 1 and a travelling body 2, a reel device 10 mounted on the travelling body 2, a motor controller 40 for controlling a motor 15 of the reel device 10, and a rotary encoder 16 (rotation sensor) for detecting rotation of a reel 12. The motor controller 40 basically makes the motor 15 free, when the reel 12 is rotating in an unreeling direction, and basically applies a rotational torque in a reeling direction to the reel 12, when the reel 12 is rotating in the reeling direction. Furthermore, even if the reel 12 is rotating in the unreeling direction, if an unreeling speed of the cable 3 exceeds a travelling speed of the travelling body 2, the rotational torque in the reeling direction is applied to the reel 12. Slackening of the cable 3 is thereby prevented.
