Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure perform reverse real estate searches using interactive GUIs. In some embodiments, techniques are provided to dynamically identify potential buyers (or renters) and then output those results in an interactive GUI that permits the searcher (e.g., a seller or agent) to then filter the results or update their search criteria. Further, the GUI can provide the ability for the searcher to contact potential buyers, all while remaining anonymous. Thus, the embodiments herein expand the technical benefits of using GUIs to perform real estate searches initiated by buyers (who can remain anonymous) to sellers and other agents to identify potential buyers or renters.

Abstract: The present embodiments relate to an Augmented Reality (AR) vehicle buying experience. A client can provide a series of client information, such as characteristics of a desired vehicle. A specified vehicle can be identified and characteristics of that vehicle can be identified. The characteristics of the vehicle can then be compared with the desired vehicle characteristics provided by the client to determine whether the vehicle corresponds to the desired vehicle of the client. Responsive to determining that the specified vehicle corresponds to the desired vehicle of the client, the client AR display can be updated to highlight the specified vehicle depicted in the display. Alternatively, responsive to determining that the specified vehicle does not correspond to the desired vehicle of the client, the client AR display can be updated to obfuscate (e.g., grey out) the specified vehicle in the display.

Abstract: A Cost Sharing Method and Platform that uses scrapping API technology to collect and project key categories of items available for sale on multiple sites on the internet is disclosed herein. As disclosed, the Cost Sharing Method and Platform (hereinafter “System” aka Splitcart) allows the user to pay for that item or share the cost of the item with other people. Payments are recorded through the system and with payments processed upon finalization of the Splitcart as defined by the organizer. As configured, the organizer is able to choose how many splitters (contributors) there will be and decide if he/she wants to cover the cost difference if funds are not met and/or convert total funds collected to a gift card. The SplitCart may have social media contacts and or connections enabled to allow for a user to use their social media platform to recruit “splitters” and recipients to a cost sharing opportunity.

Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, software made in accordance with the present invention generates a request for quote (RFQ) based on user-provided information, presents a user interface allowing a user to customize the RFQ, generates an e-mail including the RFQ, and sends the e-mail to one or more suppliers. Various corresponding and related systems, methods, and software are described.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for determining a synthetic audible utterance regarding a product, processing the audible utterance via a catalog service to determine a result and determining the relevance of the result and/or success of the catalog service for benchmarking, marketing, and catalog service improvement purposes. The audible utterance may be based on the product and/or product information as well as an intended action to be performed by the catalog service corresponding to the synthetic utterance. A relevance score may be generated using an embedding algorithm to determine the accuracy and/or appropriateness of the action performed by the catalog service.

Abstract: Method and apparatus are disclosed for processing meat. An example system comprises a database that includes estimates of meat weight associated with characteristics of an animal. The system also includes a server that, after receiving first characteristics of a first animal, generates a first meat weight of the first animal using the estimates in the database. Additionally, in some examples, the system includes an application that is downloadable onto a mobile device. The application (i) receives, via a first presented interface, a selection of the first animal, (ii) receives, via a series of second presented interfaces, the first characteristics of the first animal, (iii) sends the first characteristics to the server and receives the first meat weight, (iv) receives, via a series of third presented interfaces, an allocation of the first meat weight to goods offered by a processor, and (v) composes an order based on the allocation.

Abstract: A mechanism for providing electronic commerce data onto publisher's site. The mechanism also provides ability for a consumer to interact with that data to complete a purchase from within the publisher's website or application. A method includes retrieving merchandise data from a plurality of merchants and storing at least one group of merchandise data formed based on the merchandise data and content on a publisher site. The method also includes embedding the group of merchandise data on the content of the publisher's website and generating a merchandise frame in view of the embedment. The method further includes rendering the merchandise frame directly onto the publisher site. The method further includes rendering a universal check out frame on the publisher's site, which provides the user the ability to check out from multiple retailers within a single universal check out on a publisher's site.

Abstract: Several systems, apparatuses, and methods are described. A data transmission that includes data indicating a first search query for an item of a publication system is received from a client machine. A first plurality of search results is determined from listed items based, at least in part, on the first search query, and the first plurality of search results are each associated with a price. A range of prices associated with a first subset of the search results is determined based on a price distribution range including a median price associated with the first search results, or a utility cost function using a plurality of price quantiles and a plurality of price values included in different price quantiles. The determined first search results and the range of prices associated with the first subset of the first search results are transmitted to the client machine for display.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed to provide flaw accentuation to an image in an e-commerce online marketplace. In some embodiments, a method may include receiving at an online marketplace, from a seller through the Internet, an image of an item being listed for sale at the online marketplace and text related to the item being listed for sale; determining that the item includes a flaw based on the text related to the item being listed for sale or the image of the item; creating a flaw accentuation to the image; and creating a listing in the online marketplace for the item that includes the image and the flaw accentuation to the image.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to virtual reality systems (and/or augmented reality systems) that facilitate visualization of replacement and/or additional items for rebuilding a damaged room. The system may provide a virtual representation of a subject real world room. A user may select items, such as appliances and furniture, for placement in the virtual room and the system may update the virtual room to include a representation of the items. In some embodiments, the system may utilize information about the user to provide recommendations regarding items that may be placed in a virtual room. For example, the system may utilize one or more service records to identify items covered under a service associated with the user. In some embodiments, the system may apply a monetary settlement to the cost of the real world items to facilitate the replacement of damaged items.

Abstract: Systems and methods to provide a prioritized shopping system are discussed. For example, a method can include receiving a list of target items, receiving busyness data for a plurality of local merchants, developing a prioritized shopping plan, and communicating the prioritized shopping plan to a mobile device. Each target item in the list of target items can represents a product or service that a user has indicated an interest in purchasing. The prioritized shopping plan is based at least in part on the busyness data and the list of target items. Busyness data provides an indication of traffic levels within at least a portion of the plurality of local merchants.

Abstract: Techniques for modifying a garment based on gestures are presented herein. An access module can access a first set of sensor data from a first sensor, and a second set of sensor data from a second sensor. A garment simulation module can generate a three-dimensional (3D) garment model of a garment available for sale draped on an avatar based on the first set of sensor data and the second set of sensor data. A display module can cause a presentation, on a display of a device, of the 3D garment model draped on the avatar. Additionally, the garment simulation module can determine a modification gesture associated with the 3D garment model draped on the avatar based on the first set of sensor data and the second set of sensor data. Furthermore, the garment simulation module can modify the 3D garment model based on the determined modification gesture.

Abstract: A method of providing a dynamic go-bag service to a user is described. The go-bag contains various supplies and important documents, and is configured to protect these contents during an emergency situation. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving user information from a user, including information about the user, the user's family, and the user's home or residence. Based on the received user information, the method further includes generating a customized go-bag for the user that includes contents specific for the user to use in an emergency situation. The method also includes providing the customized go-bag to the user.

Abstract: The invention is incorporated into an interactive web data seller widget that enables any ecommerce site to provide access to and from large, remotely stored databases to its web visitors and for those visitors to prospect/filter within the databases, for example both via geographic and demographic criteria. Users can find, for example, appropriate geographic and demographic matches to any applicable search criteria. Additionally the invention enables the web visitor to order as a deliverable subset of the remotely stored database a detailed list of the required database subset and for the ecommerce site to sell that data subset to the visitor via a web shopping cart and checkout process. And the invention enables the web visitor to preview the selected subset of data from any database prior to placing an order for the same.

Abstract: A merchant may operate a retail store that users are able to visit in person in order to view and purchase products. When a user visits the store, the user might not know where a desired product (“target product”) is located. Computer technology may help direct the user to the target product in real-time. In some embodiments, a model of passable areas and the location of products in the retail store may be determined, e.g. by a merchant device. In some embodiments, when the user visits the retail store, a computer generates a product recommendation, e.g. based on user-specific information, and a route in the retail store is determined for the user. In some embodiments, the route in the retail store may be determined using the model based on the target product, the user's location in the store, and one or more recommended products.

Abstract: Methods and systems for managing a public perspective of an entity by analyzing online posts and automatically performing actions in response to these online posts are described herein. Real-time feeds of online posts may be streamed from social media servers. Online posts that are determined to be related to the entity may be extracted from the feeds and accumulated for analysis. A sentiment analysis may be performed on the online posts to determine the public perspective toward the entity. Content of the online posts may be analyzed to determine whether it is related to a prohibited transaction or an inquiry for a product or a service offered by the entity. Actions may be automatically performed to prevent the prohibited transaction from occurring. Resources related to the product or the service may be offered in response to the online post.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for providing recommendations to travelers are provided. For example, locational data associated with a device of a user is evaluated to identify a set of location points at which the device was located over time. Location point pairings are generated from the set of location points, where a location point pairing may comprise a departure location point and an arrival location point. The location point pairings are filtered based upon various criteria to remove location point pairings that are not indicative of air flight travel (e.g., a location point pairing not satisfying an air flight speed threshold or an air flight travel distance threshold). The user may be determined as an air flight traveler that has recently used air flight travel to reach a destination location. A recommendation of content for the destination location is provided to the user.

Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable medium includes instructions that when executed by a processor cause the processor to perform a method for providing visual navigation assistance in retail stores, which may include receiving a first indoor location of a user within a retail store; receiving a target destination; and providing first navigation data to the user through a first visual interface. The method may also include, after providing the first navigation data, receiving a second indoor location of the user within the retail store; determining that the second indoor location is within a selected area around the target destination, with the selected area not including the first indoor location; and, in response to the determination that the second indoor location is within the selected area around the target destination, providing second navigation data to the user through a second visual interface, where the second visual interface differs from the first visual interface.
