Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for displaying graphical objects in a user interface of a mobile device. In one embodiment, methods may include receiving a request to display a primary status associated with a plurality of facilities, querying at least one database for data associated with each one of the plurality of facilities, calculating a score for each one of the plurality of facilities based on the associated data, determining the primary status associated with each one of the plurality of facilities based by comparing the score with threshold rules, selecting a primary graphical object style for each one of the plurality of facilities based on the primary status, and generating for display a user interface screen including primary graphical objects in a screen of the mobile device, wherein the primary graphical objects include the respective selected style.

Abstract: A method for improving the development of an initial surgical plan includes receiving input information, developing an initial surgical plan based upon the input information, and allowing a user to customize the initial surgical plan by providing input related to modifications to the initial surgical plan. The method further includes storing information related to the modifications to the initial surgical plan and using the stored information to develop a subsequent initial surgical plan based on the modifications.

Abstract: An electronic device displays a messaging user interface on a display, the messaging user interface including a conversation transcript of a messaging session between a user of the electronic device and at least one other user, a keyboard, a message-input area, and a digital image affordance. While displaying the messaging user interface, the device detects an input that activates the digital image affordance. In response, the device replaces display of the keyboard with display of a plurality of digital images, the plurality of digital images including one or more digital images stored in memory and a live preview image from a digital camera. The device detects an input that selects the live image displayed within the plurality of digital images. In response, the device captures a digital image with the digital camera, while maintaining display of the conversation transcript.

Abstract: Systems and associated methods for controlling operation of loading dock equipment are described herein. In some embodiments, the system and associated methods can be used to control operation of loading dock equipment (e.g., a vehicle restraint, a dock door, a dock leveler, etc.) according to a sequence of operations. The sequence of operations can include different sub-sequences based on loading dock conditions. The system can include a display screen that sequentially presents a series of control elements that enable operation of the loading dock equipment. Additionally, the visual appearance and/or sequence of presentation of the control elements indicate the proper sequence of selection to the user, thereby reducing user confusion and simplifying the operation of the loading dock equipment. Some functionality of the control panel can be enabled or disabled based on a current level of authorization.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and system for displaying information for an aircraft on a display device in a flight deck of the aircraft. A computer system in the aircraft displays a dynamic home page in a graphical user interface on the display device in the flight deck of the aircraft. The information in the dynamic home page is based on the information used to operate the aircraft during a current phase of flight. The computer system changes the information in the dynamic home page as the current phase of flight changes or non-normal conditions occur during operation of the aircraft.

Abstract: Systems and methods involving processing and/or mirroring data in real time between one or more mobile devices and a plurality of near field communication (NFC) connected interactive posters are disclosed. In one embodiment, an exemplary computer-implemented method may comprise: connecting a user mobile computing device to a server as well as coupling the device to a plurality of interactive posters via NFC; receiving user selections made on the interactive posters; processing content data related to the posters based on the user selections and/or other information; generating a GUI comprising interactive simulations corresponding to respective posters and/or statistics related to selections made on the posters; tracking, in real time, a specific experience of a user interacting with the posters; and transmitting, in real-time, data regarding the specific experience to the server.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for dynamically creating hyperlinks associated with relevant multimedia content in a computer network. A hyperlink generation module receives an electronic text file from a server. The module searches the text file to identify keywords present in the file. Once the keywords have been identified, a database is queried to identify multimedia content that is related to the keywords. Generally, multimedia content is associated with metadata to enable efficient searching of the multimedia content. Typically, the multimedia content is contextually relevant to both the identified keywords and text file. One or more hyperlinks corresponding to the keywords are then generated and inserted into the text file. The hyperlinks provide pointers to the identified multimedia content. After insertion into the text file, the hyperlinks may be clicked by a user or viewer of the file to retrieve and display the identified multimedia content.

Abstract: Methods of controlling the display and use of a UI element are disclosed. In an embodiment, the UI element may configured so that it initially maintains a topmost position but eventually allows other applications to assume the topmost position. In an embodiment, the display of the element may be adjusted in response to an input so that the UI element is not visible on the display. In an embodiment, the use of the UI element may allow for seamless dragging of the UI element even if the user inadvertently fails to make consistent contact with the touch-sensitive display while dragging the UI element.

The method includes displaying, on the display, a first column and a second column in an application region. The method includes detecting, via the input device, a first user input that starts at a location at a top of the application region and moves toward an edge of the application region. Abstract: The present invention is directed to an optical module based on silicon photonics. The optical module provides a cyptocurrency wallet stored in a memory resource and includes an optical communication block with a direct-to-cloud interface for connecting to entities in a cloud infrastructure. The optical module further includes an application block to enable a cryptocurrency transaction via the direct-to-cloud interface. The optical module is configured to be an optical Quantum Key Generation Distribution device using a quantum key generation encryption protocol to encrypt a private key protected transaction in an encrypted transaction envelope. Furthermore, the optical module includes an external interface connecting the application block to a user/host via a physical layer to establish a secure link before executing a peer-to-peer transaction between entities in the cloud infrastructure.
