Abstract: A method and a device used to hide packages left in a publicly accessible area such as a porch that includes using a lenticular lens array printed on a translucent or transparent sheet of material and positioned such that it is between a delivered package and a potential viewer. The device can include a plurality of sections of material to which the lenticular lens array is attached to shield the package from view from more than one direction. The lens array can be printed in different orientations to provide different visual effects.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an illuminated mailbox device primarily comprised of a mailbox, at least one solar panel, at least one address plate, at least one LED light, at least one motion sensor and at least one light sensor. The at least one solar panel provides power to the LED light, which may be located on the interior surface to illuminate the interior surface and the exterior of the device to illuminate the address plate which displays the address of the house at which the device is being used. The LED light is further activated by the motion sensor that is preferably activated when the front wall is in motion and/or when the light sensor that is activated by a lack of light during dawn, dusk or night.

Abstract: The present invention relates a package securing system comprising a package receptacle having an access door, a web-enabled control system, and a securing tether that is attached to the access door. The securing tether is operationally related to the securing tether actuator and repositions the access door in an open or a closed position. Upon receipt of an authorization, the access door transitions to the open position, by way of the securing tether. The open position allows the package to be inserted or removed from the package receptacle. The package is secured by transitioning the access door to the closed position, by way of the securing tether, after the package has been inserted into the package receptacle. An autonomous vehicle equipped with a vehicle web-enabled control system can make package pickups and deliveries. The autonomous vehicle can be a car, truck, drone, or other autonomous vehicles.

Abstract: A rooftop package delivery receptacle for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) is transformed from a normally closed downwardly pitched transparent or translucent aesthetically acceptable rooftop aperture, appearing as an ordinary skylight, into a preferably larger substantially horizontal delivery platform providing a safe, secure, above ground location for a drone to land or tether for package delivery. Upon a wireless command signal from either an arriving UAV or a local user, the curb frame mounted receptacle containing a center pivoting platform supporting a plurality of slidably mounted panels rotates upwards and expands both longitudinally and transversely enabling a larger substantially horizontal landing area. After the package is delivered the platform contracts to its original size and continues in an upwards rotation urging the package to move inwards for collection. A pair of weatherproof accordion shaped shudders surround the openings and enclose any gaps during the operation.

Abstract: A vehicular exterior door handle assembly includes a bracket, a handle, and a clip. The handle, with the bracket mounted at an exterior door handle region of a vehicular door, is movable relative to the bracket by a user to actuate a latch mechanism for opening the door. The clip is attached at the bracket and engages a pivot end of the handle when the pivot end is inserted into the bracket, and retains the pivot end of the handle at the bracket when the pivot end of the handle is engaged with a pivot element of the bracket. The clip (i) limits movement of the handle relative to the bracket in a direction along a longitudinal axis of the bracket or handle, (ii) allows pivotal movement of the handle about the pivot element of the bracket, and (iii) allows for removal of the handle from the bracket.

Abstract: A controlled substance take-back kiosk has a housing that defines a secured internal kiosk storage vault. A vault door has an integrated doorjamb, and a pair of lock openings that each extend through multiple sheets of metal including both the doorjamb and door. The lock openings are shaped in the form of tapered cam-slots, and a rotating bolt arm pivots through these slots to draw the door and door jamb together. A hopper is selectively moveable between a normally closed position disallowing insertion of controlled substances into the housing interior and an open position allowing insertion of controlled substances. The hopper has an adjustable size opening with a smooth interior. A baffle has a curved cam surface that engages with the hopper, to accelerate closure of the baffle during opening of the hopper, to isolate the secured internal kiosk storage vault from the housing exterior.

The lock assembly includes a lock frame including a side wall and a projection provided thereon, the projection extends from the side wall and towards the engagement bracket. The lock assembly further includes a prong latch coupled to the lock frame that is engageable with the engagement bracket to lock the door assembly. The engagement bracket is resiliently flexible and is configured to move into contact with the projection to enhance a structural integrity of the enclosure assembly.

The locking unit is in remote communication with a personal electronic device to alert the occupant that the parcel has been delivered into the lock box.

Abstract: A method to optimize operation of a parcel terminal having a mast and a loader attached thereto, the mast being configured to move horizontally within the parcel terminal and the loader being configured to move vertically within the parcel terminal and the method comprises synchronizing by using a computing device, a horizontal movement of the mast and a vertical movement of the loader based on the calculated horizontal travel time and the calculated vertical travel time. The method enables longer lifetime of participating components as well as longer service intervals of the terminal.

A locking mechanism is attached to and releasably locks the panel when the panel is in the closed condition. The locking mechanism is actuated to an unlocked condition which allows the panel to be moved to the open condition or a locked condition which restrains the panel in the closed condition.
