Abstract: A funerary structure for containing funerary objects, which comprises a base framework provided with a plurality of profiled elements which are arranged along at least two directions and can be fixed to a supporting wall. The profiled elements delimit laterally at least one containment recess for funerary objects. There is at least one slab for closing the recess, which can be fixed, by virtue of fixing elements, to the base framework on the opposite side with respect to the supporting wall.

Abstract: A parcel storage box (10) comprises a base (12), a side wall (14) and a roof (16) joined to form a box (18) and a parapet (28) provided on an upper surface of the roof (16), the parapet (28) enclosing a volume for planting plants. An opening (20) is provided in the side wall (14) and a door (22) is hinged to the side wall (14) to close the opening (20). A lock (24) is provided for locking the door (22). A barrier (42) is provided on the base (12), the barrier (42) having a front surface (44) for contacting a rear surface of the door (22) and an upper surface (46), the upper surface (46) being sloped relative to the base (12), the upper surface (46) being closer to the base (12) at a front edge of the barrier (42).

Abstract: Package receiving apparatus including a housing and a net retracting element mounted within the housing. An elongated flexible net has a first end attached to the net retracting element within the housing and a second end extending through an opening in the housing with a pull-bar or locking-bar attached thereto external to the housing. A locking mechanism is mounted on one of an exterior surface of the housing or an exterior surface of an adjacent structure and the locking mechanism is constructed to receive and lock the pull-bar or locking-bar with the net extended.

Abstract: An apparatus for receiving mail with a body having a main inner cavity for containing a mail item, a movable closing element for allowing or preventing access to the main inner cavity, a through opening for allowing the insertion of the mail item inside the main inner cavity, and a locking device electronically actuated with a first user interface element for allowing the input of a signal for locking and/or unlocking. The first user interface element can be accessed from outside the apparatus for receiving mail. An electric power supply is for supplying the locking device and the respective user interface element, respectively. Emergency opening equipment has a second user interface element, with connecting means for the locking device, and an unlocking device configured for unlocking the locking device by way of the connecting means, in case of malfunction of said locking device and/or of the first user interface element.

Abstract: Present embodiments relate to a revolving mailbox cluster and central package delivery system. More specifically, without limitation, present embodiments relate to a revolving mailbox cluster that includes: substantially circular layers stacked vertically, where a second layer sits atop a first layer, and wherein each substantially circular layers includes: vertically opposed bottom top plates, divider plates perpendicular to the bottom and top plates, and a center ring, where the bottom and top plates, dividers, and center ring define individual mailbox units, each of which has an opening disposed opposite the center ring; a first motor for moving the substantially circular layers vertically; and a second motor for rotating the substantially circular layers.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include an anti-theft system. The anti-theft system includes a netting, a male connector linkage, and a network of female connectors. The netting includes a set of safety loops along the periphery of the netting. The male connector linkage includes at least two male connectors connected by a linkage. The male connector linkage is woven through the safety loops then connected to individual female connectors within the network of female connectors. The network of female connectors is embedded within an opening on a door. The anti-theft system is operable to cling or secure a package to a door in order to prevent the theft of said package.

Abstract: A package receptacle includes a storage box including a moveable platform configured to move within an inner compartment of the storage box. A door includes a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is releasable by a signal to open the door. An antenna is in communication with the storage box. The antenna is configured to deliver the signal to the locking mechanism of the door. The moveable platform is configured to move from an upper portion of the inner compartment of the storage box toward a lower portion of the inner compartment of the storage box.

Abstract: The description relates to hinged devices, such as hinged computing devices. One example can include first and second device portions and a hinge assembly that includes spaced-apart parallel first and second hinge shafts. The first portion rotatably secured relative to the first hinge shaft and the second portion rotatably secured relative to the second hinge shaft. A tensioned synchronizing element synchronizes rotation of the first portion around the first hinge shaft to rotation of the second portion around the second hinge shaft.

Abstract: A package drop box includes a base, a cap, and a retention bracket. The base has an open top. The cap has an open bottom. In a first position, the cap is fitted over the base such that a bottom edge of the cap is proximate a bottom edge of the base. In the second position, the bottom edge of the cap is proximate a top edge of the base. The retention bracket is configured to secure to the base. The retention bracket is configured to extend up a back of the base from the surface supporting the package drop box, extend along the surface away from the back of the base, and extend vertically upward from the surface supporting the package drop box at a predetermined distance from the back of the base.

Abstract: A mailbox and control system thereof includes a mailbox, and flip door provided thereon; a second drop slot is provided on the flip door, inside the mailbox is provided storage cavity for parcel storage; the flip door can be swung and open the storage cavity, wherein: on top of the storage cavity is provided a drop bucket, which is connected to the flip door by a transmission device, and by swinging the flip door it is possible to drive the drop bucket above the storage cavity. In the present invention, existing fixed drop slot structure is changed and by the swingable flip door, parcels can be put into the storage cavity by swinging the flip door until parcels are allowed in, meanwhile, the storage cavity is covered when the drop bucket is driven by the transmission mechanism, to limit parcels in, improve mailing safety.

Abstract: A self-locking parcel delivery apparatus and method includes a tamper-resistant compartment beneath a lid of a porch bench seat and insulated for protecting delivered parcels. The apparatus includes a lid that is held open magnetically until proactively released to close and lock (such as by a delivery person) or by a remote user via a primary software application running on a mobile communications device. The apparatus may be operated in conjunction or cooperation with a supplemental software application associated with a video motion detection system so that a remote user can authenticate a supposed delivery person and then, using another software app, activate a remote delivery container to be made ready to receive a delivered parcel.

Abstract: A mailbox comprises a box body with a door having a lock, a mailbox unlocking code input device for inputting an unlocking code to unlock the mailbox, a communication module for communicating with a remote management terminal, a storage at the mailbox or the remote management terminal for storing one or more preset mailbox unlocking codes, and a processor at the mailbox or the remote management terminal for identifying whether the input mailbox unlocking code matches the one or more preset mailbox unlocking codes, and issuing a mailbox unlocking instruction if matching. The processor comprises a mailbox unlocking code management circuit used to invalidate the matched mailbox unlocking code after the mailbox is unlocked, generate a new mailbox unlocking code when no valid mailbox unlocking code is currently available, and store the new mailbox unlocking code in the storage. The mailbox can safely, conveniently and automatically receive and/or send mail.

Abstract: The present invention is an improved door for rural mailboxes, comprising of a frame and door rotating inward and vertically downward, or just vertically downward, allowing access to the mailbox for depositing or removal of mail in one motion. The frame and door made of wood, metal, plastic, rubber or other materials can be made as part of a new mailbox or made as a complete assembly to be added to an existing mailbox. The frame comprises channels with springs to hold door closed. The door having pins or one rod horizontally mounted on the door or held on each side of the door by collars and springs also used to hold the door closed or move the door vertically and inward as it moves toward the bottom of the mailbox. The pins extend into the channels on the frame.

Abstract: Hardware for a casket comprises a clevis having a pair of side walls, a back wall adapted to be attached to the casket shell wall, a pair of tabs each of which extends laterally outwardly from a respective one of the side walls and each of which is spaced forwardly from the rear wall, an arm pivoted at an upper end to the clevis, and a decorative ear having a downwardly facing recess in a lower edge thereof and a pair of tapered resilient arms each of which is located on a respective side of the recess, each resilient arm having a laterally inwardly projecting tab on a lower free end thereof, each resilient arm becoming progressively thicker from the free end toward a base thereof as measured in a direction generally normal to the casket shell wall.

The cap panel assembly may include a cap panel, a puffing member attached to each edge of the cap panel, and a cap panel insert. The cap panel insert is fastened to the cap panel using pins. The cap panel insert can include a frame, fabric, filler, and a backing board. The cap panel insert can include elastic or ribbon-shaped straps positioned on a front face of the cap panel insert. The elastic or ribbon-shaped straps can be positioned in a lattice or grid-like arrangement. The cap panel insert can include a mounting bracket or a screw and wire assembly for mounting the cap panel insert on a wall.

Abstract: A funerary method includes disposing a deceased on an insert, the insert constructed primarily of paper material, and having side and end walls. At least one side wall and the end walls all have approximately the same height. The insert is provided on a tray having two end panels and a plurality of wood or metal side panels affixed to a bottom panel. The method also includes employing at least a first fabric segment to cover at least a portion of a top edge of at least one sidewall of the insert and at least a portion of the deceased human body, such that the deceased human body is sufficiently visible for identification. The method also includes later removing the insert and the deceased human body from the tray. A second insert having a second deceased human body is then disposed thereon on the tray.

Abstract: A mailbox support system comprising a triangular frame, comprising a generally vertical side having an outer side surface, a ground side having a bottom surface and lower guide hole, and an angled side having a top surface and an upper guide hole; and an angled anchoring stake, having a short end and a long end; wherein the long end of said anchoring stake passes through said upper guide hole in said angled side and said lower guide hole in said ground side, such that at least one third of its length extends beyond the bottom surface of said bottom side, and said short end lies parallel to and flush against the top surface of said angled side; wherein said upper guide hole and said lower guide hole cooperate to guide the anchoring stake through said frame at an angle between 50° and 70° from vertical.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a mailbox. The mailbox includes an extended downward sloping chute into and through which mail and packages destined for the mailbox's owner can be deposited. The length and orientation of the downward sloping chute makes it difficult if not impossible for the mailbox contents to be accessed and removed through the downward sloping chute. A locked door in the main portion of the box is provided to allow controlled and authorized access to the box's contents.
