Abstract: A first device can receive an attach request that includes information associated with a user device. The user device can provide the attach request to request access to a network. The first device can provide, to a second device and using the information associated with the user device, a request for information associated with a group identifier that is associated with the user device. The first device can receive, from the second device, the information associated with the group identifier that is associated with the user device based on providing the request for information associated with the group identifier. The first device can determine a network slice identifier that is associated with the user device based on the information associated with the group identifier that is associated with the user device. The first device can permit the user device to access a network slice, of the network, that is associated with the network slice identifier based on determining the network slice identifier.
Abstract: A mobile phone anti-drop and anti-theft protection system. Abstract: User equipment (UE) within dual connectivity (DC) architecture with a Master Node-B (MN) and a Secondary Node-B (SN) includes processing circuitry decoding connection reconfiguration information from the MN. The connection reconfiguration information includes signaling radio bearer type 3 (SRB3) configuration information. The SRB3 configuration information originates from the SN and configures a SRB3, the SRB3 for a radio resource control (RRC) connection between the UE and the SN. An RRC connection reconfiguration request message received from the SN via the SRB3 is decoded. The RRC connection reconfiguration request message includes UE new radio (NR) security capability information of the SN. The processing circuitry further determines whether the UE NR security capability information received from the SN matches UE NR security capability information received by the UE from the MN.
Abstract: Inter-operator sounding reference signal (SRS) resource coordination is discussed in spatial divisional multiplex (SDM) coordinated multipoint (CoMP) operations. The higher priority operator conveys SRS resource reservation information identifying the fraction of resources it intends to use. The lower priority operator observes this resource reservation information and selects to reserve SRS resources from the remaining fraction of resources, if any, for scheduling its own users' SRS. The lower priority operator will transmit its own resource reservation information identifying the amount of SRS resources that it has identified for the non-priority use.
Abstract: The invention relates to the initiation of a service to a mobile terminal capable of communicating via at least a first and second access network. Further, the invention relates to a reduction of power consumption of mobile terminals supporting connectivity to at least two access networks. The invention also relates to mobile communication systems and in particular to mobile communications through heterogeneous access networks. In order to prove improved method for initiating services to mobile terminals and/or to reduce power consumption of mobile terminals, the invention introduces of a sleep state that can be entered by the terminal for an access system if same is not used. Upon requesting a service from/to the mobile terminal, the mobile terminal starts service initiation through a second access system and transits back to active state for the first access system for service provision.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may determine whether at least one frequency band, designated for device-to-device communication of the user equipment, is associated with an active SCC of the user equipment; and selectively perform the device-to-device communication using a particular communication chain of the user equipment based at least in part on whether the at least one frequency band is associated with the active SCC, wherein the particular communication chain is tuned to the at least one frequency band for communication using the active SCC. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Abstract: A process and system allowing mobile users to initiate a two-way text message (SMS) conversation with a subscriber's computer. The steps consist of using a mobile user's mobile device to send a SMS containing a keyword and short code to a Short Message Service Center (SMSC), receiving an SMS reply containing an Individual Identification Code Numbers (IICN) which establishes two-way SMS communication between mobile user and business/subscriber. The invention further establishes IICN network which allows businesses to create-a SMS network, previously only available with voice phone networks, providing the Mobile User with the options of auto SMS replay, SMS conversation transfer, or interactive two-way SMS communication with a live SMS operator.
Abstract: The present application discloses a method for enabling a user equipment to access a radio network, a network equipment and a user equipment. A specific embodiment of the method comprises: determining, by a network equipment, whether a predetermined condition is satisfied; and if yes, the method further comprises: transmitting, by the network equipment, information indicating whether a radio network to which the network equipment belongs is isolated, such that the user equipment performs related operations. In the embodiment, the network equipment informs UE of state information about whether the radio network to which network equipments belongs is isolated or not in different ways, so that the isolated network can provide users with reliable local bearer supporting service continuity, thereby meeting communication requirements for public safety and the like.
