  • Patent number: 11655025
Abstract: Flying Car PPRW (Pipe Prop Rotary Wing) of the present invention transforms a road legal car into a true flying car for travels on and off roadways as well as travels in airways. Flying Car PPRW is mounted on top, powered from below, and has a smaller footprint of the road legal car for unrestricted roadway travels. Flying Car PPRW incorporates a general PPRW documented in patent application Ser. No. 16/128,537 filed on Sep. 12, 2018; and both Flying Car PPRW and the general PPRW are each a propeller driven propulsion engine in a pipe profile with props or propellers rotating in part as rotary wings. Flying Car PPRW enhances propulsion performances through the shaping of airflow field patterns around props and by the increased relative airflow velocities between props of interacting planet and sun airfoils.

  • Patent number: 11629493
Abstract: This invention relates to prefabricated, lightweight, multi-component structural modular building panels and modular building systems. The said panels are framed with edge members that have a unique connecting shape, making them modular. The multi-component panel allows for design flexibility and the mass manufacturing of its components. Connectors serve as a link to assemble the panels together, and to connect them to corners, floors or foundations, roof panels and the roof apex member, and or other conventional construction elements. Connectors and members, all with unique connecting shapes, coupled with the said panels, create a structural wall, roof, similar structure or building system. Assembled panels and members incorporate the primary building structure and the building envelope. The assembled panels, members and other components of the building system, in part or whole, can be flat packed for easy transport and shipping, and can be assembled quickly and easily with semi-skilled labor.

  • Patent number: 11622536
Abstract: Pet nail caps cover pets' nails to prevent scratches on surfaces (e.g., hardwood and tiled flooring) and avoid injuries to themselves and others (e.g., pets' eyes and ears, human extremities) while not compromising pet's mobility but rather improving it. The treads on the caps' tips increase the coefficient of friction between the caps (i.e., individual pet's nails) and the hard-surface flooring improving traction and overall pet's mobility. Internal spirals allow the caps to twist onto pets' nails and stay securely attached. A rubber-like material of construction (e.g., thermoplastic elastomers, thermoplastic polyurethane) provides for cap's flexibility and durability.

  • Patent number: 11613901
Abstract: A flood-resistant building is equipped with a flood barrier which enables safe and long-term refuge during floods. In a site surrounding a building, a flood barrier is constructed which encloses nearly the entire periphery of the building. An opening sealing means is connected to an entrance hall and another section serving as an entrance and exit at normal times. The opening sealing means seals the openings of these sections in a watertight manner where the openings are sealed via the opening sealing means. The flood barrier is watertight and at least as tall as the inundation depth estimated to occur in a target area when flooding or storm surges arise. In order to enable long-term refuge, an emergency-use water receiving tank 4 and an emergency-use generator are installed on the roof of the building, and an emergency-use septic tank is installed underground on the site.

  • Patent number: 11613895
Abstract: A securing system for use with glass panels is provided. The securing system provides clamping and securing forces to a panel held within a base shoe system, e.g., of a frameless glass guard railing. The securing system includes a back plate with separately tapered portions, and a shim assembly including tapered shim members. Each tapered shim member overlays a separately tapered portion of the back plate and is laterally positionable thereupon. Downward forces applied to the shim members are translated into lateral forces causing the shim members to move laterally in relation to the back plate. These lateral translations cause the system's width to increase to secure the panel within the base shoe and/or decrease to release the panel from the base shoe. The system also includes tools to apply said downward forces.
