Abstract: An embodiment includes a walking stick. The walking stick includes a rod assembly, a water purification assembly, and a manual pump. The rod assembly extends from a first end to a second end that is opposite the first end along a longitudinal direction of the rod assembly. The rod assembly includes at least one rod portion. The water purification assembly is integrated with the rod assembly. The manual pump is configured to impose a pressure gradient in the water purification assembly. The manual pump includes a plunger that is physically coupled to a handle portion. Motion of the plunger relative to the water purification assembly draws water into an inlet tube that is positioned in the rod portion and through the water purification assembly. The motion of the plunger results from translation of the handle portion in substantially the longitudinal direction of the rod assembly.
Abstract: Disclosed are the design and utilitarian characteristics of a support device for supporting a cover wherein such cover is typically used to cover a vehicle such as a boat or automobile. The invention includes a dome shaped support device with a depending base configured for extending through a cover. The depending base defines an interface for being associated with a support structure such as a pole and such interface may be a swivel interface. Additionally, the support device may define a suspension interface so that a tether may be used to apply a support force from above the support device. The support device may also define a swivel device configured for being associated with a support surface such as a floor.
Abstract: A folding cane with a first shaft member, a second shaft member, a third shaft member, a handle member, a foot member, a first hinge, a second hinge, a first hinge lock assembly and a second hinge lock assembly is disclosed. The handle member is attached to the top of the first shaft member. The first hinge member connects the first shaft member to the second shaft member. The second hinge member connects the second shaft member to the third shaft member. The foot member is attached to the bottom of the third shaft member. The hinge lock assemblies are capable of automatically locking the hinges when the folding cane is deployed to the use position and each hinge lock assembly includes a spring biased slide tab allowing a user to unlock the hinge lock assemblies when wanting to fold the cane into a compact stored configuration.

Abstract: An umbrella frame bending structure for two-fold inverted umbrella includes an umbrella shaft assembly, an umbrella frame and bending devices. The bending devices are arranged on the umbrella frame such that when the main ribs and auxiliary ribs of the umbrella frame are opened, the auxiliary ribs limit the opening distance of the main ribs, causing the main ribs to curve. The umbrella frame bending structure has the advantages of low cost, simple structure and ease of installation.

Abstract: A tent is designed for use in the air, connected at its vertices to trees or the like. The tent is further designed with enough support from an independent support structure to create a shelter there-in while in the air or on the ground. Further, the tent is built atop a floating mat or base. In order to provide enough strength to the base that it can be used to float the entire tent or hold the tent airborne, straps extend from each vertex of the mat through a central portal and connect back to themselves. From these straps, loops are further created to attach the tent, by way of the loops, to trees while the entirety of the mat is buoyant enough to hold the tent and people there-in afloat.

Abstract: A multiple terrain mobility device capable of use as a walker or crutches. The mobility device has a central cross support and a pair of crutch assemblies. Each respective crutch assembly has a rear support leg that can be extended downward or retracted upward and a front leg assembly that is capable of extending forward or retracting rearward. These adjustable extension features allow the mobility device, to traverse terrain of varying height such as stairs or hills with greater stability. The central cross support can be separated into a left and right cross support member so that the walker can be converted into a pair of crutches when conditions warrant.

Abstract: A portable, lightweight, sturdy and compact aircraft cover that is suspended above the aircraft to provide protection from the damaging effects of the sun and other elements is described. The compact and lightweight aircraft cover is capable, when not deployed, to be carried within the cargo area of the airplane while the aircraft is in operation, and then deployed once the aircraft arrives at its destination. The aircraft cover is very lightweight while at the same time very strong, to allow for the cover to be carried inside the airplane while not adversely impacting the airplane's ability to carry additional fuel or additional passengers and baggage. Furthermore, the cover is designed to be quickly and easily deployed over an aircraft with minimal amount of user effort.
Abstract: A camping tent includes a tent body, and tent poles that erect the tent body into a structure having at least a base, sidewalls, and a roof. At least one of the sidewalls includes an opening to allow passage into and out of the structure, and a door that seals the opening. Protective flaps are located on opposing sidewalls of the structure, and are moveable from a closed position to an open position. A sleeve is attached to each protective flap. The sleeves define apertures adapted to receive opposing ends of a hammock allowing the opposing ends of the hammock to be attached to a support system located outside the camping tent.

Abstract: A duck blind is formed from first and a second panel assemblies. The first panel assembly has a first height and the second panel assembly has a second height that is less than the first height. Hunters can sit with their backs to the first panel assembly and stand to shoot over the second panel assembly. Improvements for blind windows in the panel coverings are disclosed. A flexible clear window cover covers the window opening from the inside. When a hunter wants to open the window, a releasable fastener system along the upper edge of the window cover can be disconnected and the clear window cover will swing down out of the way. An elevated blind formed from panels is disclosed. A hexagonal array of panels is positioned on a hexagonal platform to improve visibility from the blind in all directions.
