Patent number: 11943117Abstract: A variety of different graphical user interfaces are generated that when displayed provide a visual and interactive representation of one or more performance metrics associated with the operation of a computer network. The graphical user interfaces may be used to monitor the underlay computer network for a virtualization infrastructure, as one example. Aspects include grouping the servers of a computer network into a plurality of aggregates, each aggregate comprising one or more servers. A set of probes are configured that are issued by an agent of a server in one aggregate and sent through the computer network to one or more agents in the server(s) of a different aggregate. Responses and other measurements taken based on the issuance of the probes is gathered and analyzed to generate metrics that are then used to generate, at least in part, the information provided in the graphical user interfaces.Type: GrantFiled: September 19, 2022Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: Juniper Networks, Inc.Inventors: Harshit Naresh Chitalia, Travis Gregory Newhouse, Weixu Zhuang, Sumeet Singh

Patent number: 11909602Abstract: A plurality of user segments is defined. Each user segment has a respective profile corresponding to one or more characteristics shared by one or more users. A plurality of elements of a user interface for a mobile application is defined. Each user segment is associated with a different subset of the elements. A first request is received to display the user interface on a first mobile device of a first user. In response to the first request, user data of the first user is analyzed. Based on the analysis, a first user segment to which the first user belongs is determined. The mobile application is then instructed to display the user interface according to a first customized layout on the first mobile device. The first customized layout includes a first subset of elements associated with the first user segment.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 2021Date of Patent: February 20, 2024Assignee: PAYPAL, INC.Inventors: Suraj Powar, Anand Vaidyanathan, Kalyan Narasimhan, Saleem Faneeband

Patent number: 11847252Abstract: An online document system manages access to features within the online document system. The online document system may receive and fulfill a request from a first entity to sponsor a feature for a second entity. The online document system may determine an access policy to restrict access to the sponsored feature. For example, the access policy may include a requirement that the second entity only use the sponsored feature with the first entity. Patent number: 11823018Abstract: An approach is described for a method, product, and apparatus for a machine learning process using weight sharing within a systolic array having reduced memory bandwidth. According to some embodiments, this approach includes providing a systolic array that includes processing elements which each have some number of storage elements for storing weights. For example, the weights can be reused for different data sets by identifying/capturing a current state of the storage elements, generating a plan to transition to a target state of those storage elements, and application of the transition plan such that weights that are already stored in those storage elements can be reused and/or relocate. This lowers the bandwidth requirements for weight memory by allowing weights that have previously been read into the systolic array to be reused.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2020Date of Patent: November 21, 2023Assignee: Cadence Design Systems, Inc.Inventors: Ngai Ngai William Hung, Yong Liu, Michael Patrick Zimmer

Patent number: 11797882Abstract: We describe a system that performs prognostic-surveillance operations based on an inferential model that dynamically adapts to evolving operational characteristics of a monitored asset. During a surveillance mode, the system receives a set of time-series signals gathered from sensors in the monitored asset. Next, the system uses an inferential model to generate estimated values for the set of time-series signals, and then performs a pairwise differencing operation between actual values and the estimated values for the set of time-series signals to produce residuals. Next, the system performs a sequential probability ratio test (SPRT) on the residuals to produce SPRT alarms. When a tripping frequency of the SPRT alarms exceeds a threshold value, which is indicative of an incipient anomaly in the monitored asset, the system triggers an alert. While the prognostic-surveillance system is operating in the surveillance mode, the system incrementally updates the inferential model based on the time-series signals.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 2019Date of Patent: October 24, 2023Assignee: Oracle International CorporationInventors: Kenneth P.
