Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for loading rendering data for a scene from a computer generated environment at an interactive computer simulation station. In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a content file is created that defines, for each of a plurality of virtual geographical sectors of a computer generated environment, available levels of detail for the virtual geographical sector and a latest available version that the available levels of detail are contained in. A file associated with an available level of detail in the latest available version is listed in the content file. The content file is loaded into memory during execution of an interactive computer simulation station for real-time access by the interactive computer simulation station to determine which files are available to be loaded for rending of the scene having a target level of detail in a latest available version.

  • Patent number: 11361506
Abstract: Methods and systems for mapping images from a first dynamic range to a second dynamic range using a set of reference color-graded images and neural networks are described. Given a first and a second image representing the same scene but at a different dynamic range, a neural network (NN) model is selected from a variety of NN models to determine an output image which approximates the second image based on the first image and the second image. The parameters of the selected NN model are derived according to an optimizing criterion, the first image and the second image, wherein the parameters include node weights and/or node biases for nodes in the layers of the selected NN model. Example HDR to SDR mappings using global-mapping and local-mapping representations are provided.

  • Patent number: 11361485
Abstract: When generating a set of tile-lists for use in a tile-based graphics processing system when rendering a scene for display, vertex data is obtained for a plurality of draw calls, and the obtained vertex data is then processed to generate for each of the draw calls data indicative of which tile(s) the primitives associated with that draw call should be rendered for when rendering the scene for display. The vertex data for at least some of the plurality of draw calls can be obtained and processed out of order and/or in parallel and the data is then sorted based on a desired rendering order for the draw calls in order to generating a tile-list identifying the sequence of draw calls to be rendered. In embodiments, the generated data is sorted using a re-ordering buffer.

  • Patent number: 11341652
Abstract: A survey application generates a survey of components associated with a three-dimensional model of an object. The survey application receives video feeds, location information, and orientation information from wearable devices in proximity to the object. The three-dimensional model of the object is generated based on the video feeds, sensor data, location information, and orientation information received from the wearable devices. Analytics is performed from the video feeds to identify a manipulation on the object. The three-dimensional model of the object is updated based on the manipulation on the object. A dynamic status related to the manipulation on the object is generated with respect to reference data related the object. A survey of components associated with the three-dimensional model of the object is generated.
