Abstract: The present disclosure provides an improved connection system for use between a baffle and a seed tube of a bird feeder. The seed tube is further comprised of a plurality of tracks to receive a corresponding plurality of latches of the baffle. The tracks are generally L-shaped and have a tapered portion to better receive and compress the latches. The seed tube is also comprised of two recesses, each having a projection therein, the projections positioned on a pivotable surface. The projections of the seed tube are constructed to mate with corresponding openings that are positioned on raised portions of the baffle. Once the projections are inserted into the openings, the connection system is in a locked position and the baffle mates flushly and tightly with the seed tube.

The inlet port is in flow communication with an air source outside of the pet travel system. The exhaust duct is in flow communication with the exhaust port. The pressure within the exhaust duct is lower than the pressure of the air source to cause air to flow from the air source through the at least one pet storage module from the inlet port to the exhaust port.

The base may also include a retaining aperture disposed and structured to receive and retain a tale of the mammal therein, concurrent to said operative position.

Abstract: A litter box cover comprises an enclosure adapted to engage and cover a litter pan. The enclosure defines an interior volume adapted to accommodate felis catus (housecat) defecation, and has a feline transit doorway opening into the interior volume and which is adapted to accommodate felis catus ingress into and egress from the interior volume. A hood is movably coupled to the enclosure in registration with the doorway so as to be movable between a canopy position and a chute position. In the canopy position the hood extends outwardly from the enclosure to form a canopy over the doorway, and in the chute position the hood forms a guide ramp for guiding particulate material such as kitty litter through the doorway into the interior volume.

A nipple end of the teats is typically designed for use in a specific orientation to aid the suckling of a young animal, and therefore the teats need to be fitted to the feeding receptacle correctly. The animal feeding teat has a rectangular connection feature in a base end of the teat that is designed to mate with a similarly shaped feature on a feeding receptacle. It is considered important that the connection feature has only one or two lines of symmetry, so that the teat can only be fitted in one or two orientations relative to the receptacle.

Abstract: An assembly and method for conditioning a pet to utilize a toilet when making waste. A primary tray is provided. The primary tray has a first depression, wherein a primary opening is formed in the depression. A plurality of inserts are provided. The inserts progress in size. Each of the inserts defines a central opening that is proportional to the size of the insert. The primary tray is placed on the toilet. The primary opening within the primary tray is covered by the inserts. Litter is added into the depression of the primary tray to entice the pet to utilize the primary tray as a litter box. Over a period of time, the pet will become accustomed to jumping onto the primary tray to make waste. The inserts are removed one at a time. This slowly uncovers the primary opening over a period of time as a pet is conditioned.
