Abstract: The bird feeder with a lower seed catching tray comprises an upper feeder and a lower feeder. The top of the lower feeder may be coupled to the bottom of the upper feeder. The upper feeder may be stocked with bird seed. The upper feeder may be adapted to dispense the bird seed to one or more birds from a plurality of upper feeding stations located on an upper seed tube. The bird seed dropped by the one or more birds feeding at the upper feeder may be collected by an upper bowl of the upper feeder and may be funneled into the lower feeder where the bird seed may be dispensed a second time.

Abstract: Disclosed are an excrement screening device and method. The excrement screening device includes a rotary receiving piece, a litter blocking piece and a screening piece. The rotary receiving piece is configured to receive cat litter and the rotary receiving piece is provided with a waste discharge outlet. The litter blocking piece is disposed in the rotary receiving piece and the litter blocking piece is configured to block the cat litter in a case where the rotary receiving piece rotates along a first direction. The screening piece is disposed in the rotary receiving piece, the screening piece is provided with a plurality of screening holes, and an accommodating cavity is formed by the screening piece, the litter blocking piece and the rotary receiving piece. The excrement screening method uses the above-mentioned excrement screening device.

Abstract: A heartbeat or pulse generator device is provided separately for use in or in combination with a comfort product such as a plush toy. The heartbeat generator device includes an automatic control system that provides for controlled operation of the heartbeat generator while compensating for natural movements during use. The heartbeat generator device contains a pulse generator to create the motion necessary to cause the heart to “beat” twice early in a beat interval. The heartbeat generator device to increase battery longevity by allowing the generator device to selectively shut off when it senses that the animal or other user is no longer interacting with the product. As the animal interacts, the emulated heartbeat continues. When the animal stops interacting for a period of time, the heartbeat will stop, and battery life is preserved. The heart will restart when motion is detected once again.

Abstract: A critter-proof bird feed apparatus includes a critter deterrent barrier/deflector assembly that attaches to the top of a bird feeder and prevents critters from accessing the bird feeder when the combined apparatus is hung up. The critter deterrent barrier/deflector assembly includes a connecting cable having a first end attached to the bird feeder and a second end for attaching to a pole, bracket, or other support structure above. The critter deterrent barrier/deflector assembly includes a deflector plate that extends in a lateral/horizontal direction. The deflector plate has a larger width than the bird feeder and block a view of the bird feeder from above the deflector plate. The critter deterrent barrier/deflector assembly includes a plurality of inverted, overlapping cones extending above the deflector plate, and preventing a critter from gripping onto the cones.

Abstract: A pet crate having a top, a bottom, and a cage between the top and bottom. The cage can be engaged to and disengaged from each of the top and bottom. When engaged to the top and bottom, or when disengaged from either one or both of the top and bottom, the cage is endless and can safely hold a pet therein. When disengaged from the top and bottom, the cage is foldable into a closed, endless and flat configuration such that the cage can be stored between the top and bottom such that the crate as a whole in such stored configuration is generally flat. When disengaged from the top and bottom, the cage is foldable out into a fence configuration by disconnecting two ends of the cage.

The perimeter wall includes a front side, back side, first lateral side and second lateral side. The front side has an opening extending therethrough for a cat to access an interior of the housing. A filter member is removably mounted in the housing. The filter member includes a perimeter frame bounding an interior area. A filter grid is mounted to the perimeter frame and traverses the interior area. The perimeter frame is extendable across the interior of the housing from the first lateral side to the second side. Litter positioned in the housing flows through the filter grid such that waste material in the litter remains on the filter grid when the housing is inverted.

An example of the pet kennel may include a housing having a floor, a top, and four sides, wherein the floor and the top are wooden, and at least one of the sides has metal rods in a wooden frame. The example pet kennel may also include a containment area formed within the housing, the containment area sufficiently large to fit multiple animals. At least one divider may be installed to separate the containment area into distinct living space. The at least one divider may be removed to provide a common living space. The at least one pet kennel may also include at least one door to the containment area, and a lock on the at least one door.

The device senses a presence of a pet, determines whether a rotary unit is operating in response to the sensing of the presence of the pet, determines whether a weight equal to or greater than a first set value is applied to a load cell when the rotary unit is not operating, determines whether a weight equal to or less than the first set value is applied to the load cell when a weight equal to or greater than the first set value is applied to the load cell, and operates the rotary unit when a weight equal to or less than the first set value is applied to the load cell. According to the present invention, excrement removal, solid material supply, and excrement accommodation can be automatically performed by simply rotating a rotary unit.

The station may include a pressurized pipe supplying a liquid for the soaking spray, a valve and nozzle coupled to the pipe, and a control circuit coupled to the valve. The control circuit may be operable to determine the sequence of the soaking spray using a signal from an animal sensor that is configured to detect the presence of the animal at the station. The system may include an environmental sensor providing at least one signal to the control circuit. The signal from the environmental sensor may be used by the control circuit to determine the sequence for the soaking spray.

Abstract: Provided herein are compression pad window hanging devices and systems. Compression pad window hanging devices include a compression pad attached to an item, with the compression pad designed to be compressed between the lower sash of a closed window and a window sill to thereby secure the item in place on an exterior or interior of the window. Such window hanging devices can include one or more adjustable support members extending from a bottom of the item to support the item on the exterior or interior window sill ledge and compensate for a downward slope of the exterior or interior window sill ledge. Bird feeders, flags, decorations and storage systems are examples items to be secured to a window sill using a compression pad window hanging device and system as disclosed herein.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an improved connection system for use between a baffle and a seed tube of a bird feeder. The seed tube is further comprised of a plurality of tracks to receive a corresponding plurality of latches of the baffle. The tracks are generally L-shaped and have a tapered portion to better receive and compress the latches. The seed tube is also comprised of two recesses, each having a projection therein, the projections positioned on a pivotable surface. The projections of the seed tube are constructed to mate with corresponding openings that are positioned on raised portions of the baffle. Once the projections are inserted into the openings, the connection system is in a locked position and the baffle mates flushly and tightly with the seed tube.
