Abstract: Websites or webpages that break frames may be automatically detected by determining a first value, based on a number of occurrences, that a child webpage and a container webpage are provided for presentation, the child webpage being presented within a frame of the container webpage. A second value may be determined, based on a number of occurrences, of user interaction data, indicating user interaction with the container webpage. The method may further include calculating a frame break score for the child webpage based on the first value and the second value and comparing the frame break score to a threshold. The method may further include identifying, based on the comparison to the threshold, the child webpage as a webpage that breaks frames.

Abstract: A meter enabled for wireless communication and a wireless communication network are disclosed. A meter enabled for wireless communication comprises a metering device, a wireless communication system and an interface between the two. Meter data can be read, and the meter can be controlled via communication with a wireless network. A self-configuring wireless network is disclosed that includes a number of vnodes, and one or more VGATES. Vnodes are operative to form ad hoc piconet connections. The one or more VGATES comprise computer network gateways that are enabled for wireless communication. The VGATES enable the wireless array of vnodes to communicate with a private or public computer network to transmit data or receive commands. The network may also communicate with a VNOC system that enables the wireless array of vnodes to communicate (either directly or through a VGATE) with a central control facility.

The data can include image data, text data, numeric data or other types of data, or a combination of these types of data. The processing of the data is controlled by a project definition (14, 71, 101), which includes a plurality of modules selected from a variety of available modules (Tables 1-4). The modules have input and output ports which are interrelated by binding information. Where a project definition is complex and/or is assigned to process a large data set, capability is provided to launch multiple instances of the same project definition, each of which processes a respective portion of the data. Further, capability is provided to launch multiple instances of the same or different project definitions on each of one or more computers, in order to efficiently execute project definitions in a centralized processing facility.

Abstract: Transparent network devices intercept messages from non-transparent network devices that establish a connection. Transparent network devices modify these messages to establish an inner connection with each other. The transparent network devices mimic at least some of the outer connection messages to establish their inner connection. The mimicked messages and any optional reset messages are intercepted by the transparent network devices to prevent them from reaching the outer connections. Transparent network devices modify network traffic, using error detection data, fragmentation data, or timestamps, so that inner connection network traffic inadvertently received by outer connection devices is rejected or ignored by the outer connection network devices. Transparent network devices may use different sequence windows for inner and outer connection network traffic.

Abstract: A virtual data center allocation architecture with bandwidth guarantees that provides for the creation of multiple virtual data centers from a single physical infrastructure. The virtual data center allocation is accomplished in three steps. First, clusters are created from the servers in the physical infrastructure. Second, a bipartite graph is built to map the virtual machines to the servers located in a particular cluster and finally a path is calculated between two virtual machines. The virtual data centers may be dynamically expanded or contracted based on changing bandwidth guarantees.

An embodiment of the present disclosure can set the most appropriate silent download mode according to network conditions and user requirements.

Abstract: A method and system for setting up and managing secure data/audio/video conferences with a wide range of topologies is described. The disclosed method and system allow extending the range of topologies possible with the H.323 conferencing standards while overcoming T.120 negotiating constraints. Security in such conferences may be based on a trusted node system or on more complex security procedures. Furthermore, the taught conference topologies fully utilize the T.120 standards while also permitting the reach of the conferences to the extent enabled by the H.323 standards by implementing additional modules to manage the setting up and tearing down of one or more conference connections. In addition, the method and system allow for dynamically adjusting conference connections to improve bandwidth usage and utilize H.323 support for gatekeepers.

In this method, a file access request specifying a file node to be accessed by way of a file system is received at a server from a client device. A counter is referenced to identify that the file node is being accessed in response to a different file access request. The counter is configured to track whether the file node is being accessed. The file node is provided to the client device when the counter indicates a termination of access to the file node resulting from the different file access request.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards push signaling to run jobs on available servers. Users may provide jobs or job instructions to a job control node. Job control node may determine one or more available job target nodes from among a plurality of managed nodes associated with the job control node. The job target nodes may be determined based on information included in the provided job instructions. If there are available job target nodes, the job control node may provide the job instructions to each available job target node. Further, the job control node may receive communications from one or more available job target nodes that indicates that the job target node is prepared and ready to execute the received job instructions. Next, the job control node may issue a job start command that triggers the prepared job target nodes to begin executing the provided job instructions.

Abstract: A communication service method wherein a user ID is registered at server. Video data from the user's terminal is transmitted to the server. The user selects the setting of whether image data is used with that video data; and the user's selected setting is stored at the server with the user ID. When the stored setting indicates that image data is used, the video data and the image data are transmitted from the server to one or more other terminals.
