  • Patent number: 11737059
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for slot aggregation in new radio (NR) systems. A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving radio resource control (RRC) signaling providing a semi-static configuration for transmission and/or reception of a repeated transport block (TB) and/or a different TB in each of a plurality of aggregated slots. The UE transmits or receives the TBs in the plurality of aggregated slots based on the semi-static configuration. Another method is provided in which the UE transmits and/or receives a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) in each of a plurality of aggregated slots, each DMRS associated with a repeated TB or a different TB in the slot. The UE determines, based on received signaling, whether the DMRS use a same precoder or a different precoder and modulates and/or demodulates the TBs in the plurality of aggregated slots based on the determination.

  • Patent number: 11729107
Abstract: A distributed computing system, such as may be used to implement an electronic trading system, supports a notion of fairness in latency. The system does not favor any particular client. Thus, being connected to a particular access point into the system (such as via a gateway) does not give any particular device an unfair advantage or disadvantage over another. That end is accomplished by precisely controlling latency, that is, the time between when request messages arrive at the system and a time at which corresponding response messages are permitted to leave. The precisely controlled, deterministic latency can be fixed over time, or it can vary according to some predetermined pattern, or vary randomly within a pre-determined range of values.

  • Patent number: 11690088
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate with a base station using a bandwidth part (BWP) configuration in a component carrier (CC). The UE may transmit an indication of a capability of the UE to operate in a full duplex (e.g., frequency division duplex (FDD)) mode on a single carrier in an unpaired frequency spectrum based on a first BWP configuration. The UE may receive an indication of a second BWP configuration for one or more slots based on transmitting the indication of the capability of the UE, the second BWP configuration including a configuration associated with an uplink BWP and a downlink BWP. The UE and the base station may then communicate according to the second BWP configuration in the one or more slots of the set of slots based on receiving the indication of the second BWP configuration.

  • Patent number: 11683199
Abstract: A distributed system includes a plurality of compute nodes configured to process messages. The compute nodes each process messages corresponding an assigned value of a common parameter of the messages. The values are assigned to the compute nodes such that two or more compute nodes are available to process each message. The values can be assigned to the compute nodes in a grouping configuration or a striping configuration. The compute nodes also circulate one or more tokens among nodes, and perform a self-maintenance operation during a given state of possession of the token. During a self-maintenance operation, the values assigned to the compute node can be reassigned to other compute nodes to ensure processing of corresponding messages.

  • Patent number: 11678278
Abstract: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), Generation Node-B (gNB) and methods of communication are disclosed herein. The UE may attempt to decode sidelink synchronization signals (SLSSs) received on component carriers (CCs) of a carrier aggregation. In one configuration, synchronization resources for SLSS transmissions may be aligned across the CCs at subframe boundaries in time, restricted to a portion of the CCs, and restricted to a same sub-frame. The UE may, for multiple CCs, determine a priority level for the CC based on indicators in the SLSSs received on the CC. The UE may select, from the CCs on which one or more SLSSs are decoded, the CC for which the determined priority level is highest. The UE may determine a reference timing for sidelink communication based on the one or more SLSSs received on the selected CC.
